Beautiful "inn" in the center of Iglesias, excellent dishes from both sea and land. Professional and friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

By profession I am an international Chef. I have eaten at fine restaurants around the world and this restaurant in my opinion is world class.
Personally, having dined at the restaurant several times (as we have since 2017 lived in nearby Sant’Antioco in retirement, have never had any issues whilst dining at the restaurant.
Our food today (2nd April 2022) with 4 friends dining together, was fantastic. Really authentic, freshly prepared Sardinian dishes.

Together with my partner, we had lunch in this place on Saturday 22nd, receipt received at 2.23pm, table 15F outdoors. I give 4 stars for these reasons.
The restaurant is located in a fairly quiet secondary street and this made us prefer the choice of sitting outside. The interior is characteristic, aesthetically pleasing, with an open kitchen. Overall clean bathrooms. In the men's bathroom, the unpleasant presence of the seat not securely fastened to the sanitary fixture, to be resolved, is not a good look.
The staff in the room were young and courteous, we appreciated their work.
We ordered 1x Fregola with seafood, 1x Tagliata di Manzo with rocket and parmesan, 1x 75cl natural water, 1x 37.5cl bottle of Pan di Zucchero rosé and 1x tiramisu.
The fregola dish, beautifully plentiful, rich in seafood, tasty - whoever was with me couldn't finish it.
The sliced beef was for me. The quantity of meat was adequate, the presence of rocket was scarce, ditto for the parmesan, a lot of lettuce, romanella and other salad (not requested and not present as a description in the menu, I don't know if it was added to compensate for the lack of rocket, however they are salads that I can't eat, so I couldn't consume them). The meat was cooked as requested (well cooked), tasty, but unfortunately too many pieces were difficult to chew, including sinews and fibres. In short, it didn't make me enjoy it fully, so to speak, I've eaten better and richer cuts. I am not able to evaluate whether there is responsibility on the part of those who choose and prepare the meat or whether it is something that can happen and peace. Personally I would give my dish 3 stars.
Carasau bread and good sandwiches. Very good and well presented tiramisu. Excellent wine.
"Long" wait for the standards my company and I are used to, the place had several free tables both inside and outside, so it wasn't at full capacity. However, since I wasn't in a hurry, that's ok. Would I go back? I think so.
Bill 49 euros. 2 euros covered each, 17 euros for the cut, 15 euros for the fregola, 2 euros for 75cl of water, 6 euros for 37.5cl of rosé wine and 5 euros for tiramisu.

Proprietario e personale gentilissimi e professionali.
Consiglio a chi si trova in zona di fare una sosta in questo posto incantevole.
Non vedo l'ora di ritornarci e gustare i loro piatti prelibati.

Menù vario e prodotti di alta qualità. Il servizio era eccellente. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Consigliamo vivamente di provare la cucina del Gazebo Medievale.

Esperienza davvero positiva. Inizio col dire che ci hanno gentilmente fatti prenotare per le 22 nonostante la cucina chiudesse di lì a poco. Accoglienza piacevole, staff cordiale e preparato. Abbiamo preso un misto di mare come antipasto ed un tagliere di salumi e formaggi. Porzioni ricche ed abbondanti, tant'è che non abbiamo preso successivamente un primo/secondo. Torneremo sicuramente per provare il resto del menù. Abbiamo accompagnato il pasto con del buon vino bianco e concluso con una cheesecake ai frutti di bosco, degna di tale nome. Prodotti freschissimi.
Conto assolutamente ottimo in relazione a ciò che abbiamo consumato ed al servizio che abbiamo avuto. Sarà un piacere tornare a mangiare presso il Gazebo.
