The food was excellent, beautifully prepared and presented. The service was impeccable; all the staff were up to the task. The setting was meticulously designed down to the last detail, clean and comfortable. Nothing was left to chance, and it's clear that the organization was truly remarkable. 07/12/2025: We had lunch with a group of friends, more than 10. Some chose the tasting menu, others à la carte. Traditional Trentino dishes, not very abundant, but very good. The staff was kind and smiling. We were unlucky because there was another very noisy group behind us, and we struggled to communicate. The acoustics aren't the best. A sore point is that there's no list of allergens on the menu or any other menu. Only the chef provided information verbally, but for those with significant and numerous allergies, it's very difficult to choose what to eat and you have to constantly ask. The price is medium-high. I definitely won't be returning.

04/12/2025: Small and very nice place, well presented and excellent dishes, impeccable service without frills

27/10/2025: Let's start with the good things: the service was acceptable, the prawns and mussels were passable, and the appetizer was too. The place is very small, but that's not the problem. Perhaps it would be bigger if the entrance wasn't cluttered with kitchen equipment: a water dispenser, a huge blast chiller right at the entrance, and a coffee machine. Okay, I guess these are choices dictated by necessity. We read the menu; nothing special. We order the seafood risotto: not paella, and certainly not 1kg of deconstructed white rice topped with mussels and prawns. And yet: that's exactly what we get. In a single paella pan for the whole table. It's announced with, "Here's the paella." Now, in gastronomy, names matter. I'm not going to go into what risotto and paella are; it doesn't matter now. Or rather, it matters a great deal, but in this context, it's decidedly superfluous. What matters is what we received: a generous 1 kg of parboiled white rice (probably with a generous amount of glutamate, i.e., a good bouillon cube), very boiled. Because it's different: well, because by boiling rice in abundant water, the starch dissolves, the rice loses body... And it doesn't form any internal creaminess. It's also certainly not creamed, not risotto-style... More details for connoisseurs, obviously. Obviously, we sent almost all of it back. "Do you want to take it home?" (They asked us twice). Me: "No, we'll ignore it." Then at a certain point, a woman from the kitchen (I assume the cook) comes out into the dining room and says to the waiters: "The kitchen is closed, I'm fed up..." (it was 1:45 PM). We, of course: message received. The waiter asks us: do you want anything else? Yes, the bill. €157. Two seafood appetizers (passable, it must be said) and a 1 kg pan of Carnaroli rice. Boiled rice. With mussels and prawns on top. Those were passable, too, it must be said. Oh well.

15/11/2025: A surprising discovery. A quaint restaurant with outdoor seating in Torre a Mare's main square overlooking the sea, but also a very welcoming indoor dining room. Let the owner advise you, introducing you to the off-menu dishes and making your mouth water with his explanations of their preparations. We ordered several dishes to share, especially an excellent picanha carpaccio with truffle and a phenomenal fava bean, chicory, and onion dish. Top-notch, we'll be back.
