11/12/2025: My husband and I had been wanting to dine on the steamer for a while, and we finally did! The place is simply gorgeous: well-kept, clean, and with a truly special atmosphere. The staff who looked after us was impeccable. We chose to dine à la carte, although a tasting menu is also available. We requested a wine tasting paired with each course and let Emanuel guide us: knowledgeable, passionate, and with a top-quality wine cellar. The wines served came from the Cellagrande winery, a truly remarkable winery. The other people who served us were also exceptional. Sincere compliments to everyone, truly. The cuisine was a delightful surprise: clear flavors, carefully prepared dishes, and the highest quality. The culinary journey is a story that begins in the Aosta Valley and ends in Arona, on Lake Maggiore, and it is evident in every course. We ordered: Appetizer: a tasting of their cheeses and cured meats, accompanied by delicious honey. First course: green leek risotto with mountain fontina, Erbaluce San Michele, and fried leek. Second course: Piedmontese Fassona sirloin with Duchess potatoes, red cabbage, and fontina fondue. Desserts: their gelato with its "amusements" and a Catalan cream made with sheep's milk blue cheese and mustard apple jam. Coffee and delicious digestif. At the end of dinner, they also gave us a complete tour of the steamship: it was fascinating to discover every corner and the history of the vessel. They also told us that it will soon be possible to stay overnight on board, with five rooms available for guests. A new feature that makes the experience even more special! A perfect experience in every way. We will definitely be back!

08/12/2025: My first experience at this place, and I'm so glad it was recommended! Gourmet cuisine, local and artisanal products, a blend of flavors that embodies taste and simplicity, history and production. In short, a delightful treat for the palate! During each course, the staff delights with small extras and free tastings (all locally produced)! A delightful lunch on the lake. The staff's professionalism is outstanding, retracing the production process of each product on the table, highlighting its history! The wait times between courses are not rushed; instead, the meal is leisurely, allowing you to carefully savor every single bite! A unique experience, different from the usual! Highly recommended, with the added bonus of suites from New Year's Eve onward! We were delighted, and it's the first place where quality exceeds the price! For anyone spending a day in Arona, a stop at the Piroscafo Lombardo is a must!

25/10/2025: I waited an hour for two pizzas. The waitresses were really kind and cheerful, but the wait was way too long. The pizza was truly spectacular, but unfortunately, I'm not sure it was worth the wait. I'll definitely be back to see if it was a coincidence or not... sorry.

18/11/2025: I was in Verona for a weekend and we loved the location, the service from all the staff, and the pizzas we ordered. When I return to Verona, I'll definitely stop by Pizzeria Leon D'Oro again.

02/11/2025: The food was very good. We had the Piedmont menu. Everything was really good. We brought our dog and they brought him a bowl of water. Very kind. The recommended wine was also excellent.

24/11/2025: The best ice cream shop in Viareggio, with many delicious flavors and generous portions. They also cater to celiacs, vegans, and those with lactose intolerances (the non-dairy cream is also delicious). The staff is incredibly friendly, and they also make cakes and popsicles.

06/12/2025: If you're looking for an authentic slice of Roman cuisine, Chef Pier is a must-visit. I ate truly wonderfully here: home-cooked dishes prepared with a care rarely found today, super-fresh ingredients, and flavors that immediately evoke genuine cuisine, made as it should be. Pier, besides being incredibly friendly, is an exceptional chef. You can see and taste the passion and attention he puts into every dish. From the freshly made pasta to the main courses cooked with skill but a family spirit, everything arrives with an aroma that captivates you even before the first bite. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, just like at home: no frills, just good food, authenticity, and a warm welcome. Very generous portions. In short: highly recommended. A restaurant you'll want to return to again and again.

22/11/2025: We spontaneously visited Bruscello in mid-September during our trip to Siena and were absolutely thrilled. Superb service, fantastic food, and great wine. It was the best meal I had on my entire trip to Italy! We ordered the pici (incredibly good!), the stracotto di manzo al chianti con purea di patate, beef tongue arrosticini with teriyaki sauce, and for dessert, a crepe cake and the "Taste of Siena" coffee, along with a very good espresso. Everything about the evening was perfect, and I highly recommend spending an evening here :)

15/11/2025: This review is long overdue! We booked this fabulous restaurant for a birthday dinner in October 2025 with a group of 11, and it was perfect. Marco, the owner, was truly amazing! He helped me craft a wonderful menu, and every single person absolutely loved their meal. It was a memorable evening, and I’m so grateful for Marco and his incredible hospitality. Highly recommend!

05/11/2025: Highly recommended. I don't know if they are mothers or daughters. Super kind, friendly, and professional. Super food. Lunch with a set menu. For lunch, a second course and a side dish were really good. I was even undecided about the side dish, whether it was teepees in a tecia or baked potatoes. She told me if I wanted, she could do half and half. Not everyone does that. Little things that customers appreciate. Another thing I really like is that with the set menu, they give you water in a top glass bottle.
