I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend. After leaving, we were thrilled with our food, considering it one of the best restaurants we've ever tried. Every dish is homemade, given their butcher shop. I highly recommend trying the cured meats—sausage, soppressata, and mortadella—superlative, fresh, and made with ingredients that taste like quality. A must-try dish is the crostini with corned tongue, salsa verde, and sun-dried tomato mayonnaise. Everything is homemade. They're large and juicy, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. We also had the tartare, seasoned to perfection—one of the best I've ever tasted. My girlfriend had the CBT pork fillet with mustard and honey and baked Mantua pumpkin. This is also a dish I highly recommend. To finish, try the tiramisu and vin santo, both of which are also excellent. We recommend everyone go there and try their fantastic cuisine.

A fantastic dining experience! I'll definitely come back. This was my second time visiting this lovely restaurant. The food was still very delicious, and my parents were extremely happy. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. I can't wait to come back for a third visit.

Wonderful Tuscan specialities from nose to tail. Attentive service and by far the best steak I’ve ever had. Very reasonable prices, including for the extensive wine list. The bistecca alone is worth the trip.

The steak was flawlessly prepared: tender, full of flavor, and beautifully presented with simple yet perfectly executed side dishes. In addition to the main courses, the Tuscan appetizers—crostini and house-cured salumi—were outstanding, each bite brimming with authentic local character. The wine selection is impressive and thoughtfully curated, a perfect complement to the food. The service deserves special mention: friendly, attentive, and never rushed. You feel genuinely welcome, not just served. The atmosphere is warm, rustic, and lively—just as a great Tuscan osteria should feel, with hanging hams, wooden furniture, and the hum of satisfied guests. For anyone visiting the Valdinievole: Il Maialetto is a must. We left with full hearts and full stomachs and are already planning our next visit. Five stars, without a doubt.

Welcoming and warm, this restaurant offers its own steakhouse. The cured meats, cheeses, and especially the meat are excellent. I ate the best fillet steak in the world! Excellent service.

The philosophy of using the whole animal from ears to tail is not just a concept here but a delicious reality that celebrates traditional cooking and careful craftsmanship. Every plate reflects deep knowledge of the product and a genuine love for honest, rustic flavors prepared with precision. The dishes are rich, comforting and full of character, yet never heavy. You can feel the connection to the territory and to the farmers who raise the animals. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the kind of place where you immediately feel at home. It has that rare balance of authenticity and quality that makes you relax and enjoy the moment. This is definitely a restaurant we will happily return to again and again and it will surely become one of our regular spots.

Five-star dinner. Couple's dinner. Excellent food, a wide selection of six wines, and a traditional and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

We had dinner at Il Porchiotto. My wife and I had a mixed Tuscan appetizer and a steak fillet. Everything was excellent. All the food was high quality, the cured meats were spectacular, not to mention the steak fillet, cooked to perfection and with an excellent flavor. If we ever find ourselves passing through Monsummano Terme again, we will definitely stop at Il Porchiotto for lunch or dinner.

What can I say... quality cured meats and meats! Excellent selection of wines too. Highly recommended 👍
