01/11/2025: What can I say?? The best Cannoli we had on our holiday in Sicily. This shop was recommended by our Airbnb host so we decided to try it out. So glad we did. So fresh, tasty, melt in the mouth!! You need to try this!!

Chef Alessia and her daughter managed to convey a warmth and love for simple yet refined cuisine, which they shared with us as they shared their fascinating story. 05/11/2025: Friendliness and hospitality reign supreme. The owners make their customers feel like family, not to mention the young pizza chef Oriana. Not only is she incredibly skilled at making pizzas, but she's incredibly sweet, her smile warming the heart. I recommend everyone to go there because the food is delicious, the quality/price ratio is excellent, and the portions are generous! I'll be back!!!

28/08/2025: For me, it remains the best restaurant in the area. High-quality, home-cooked food. They offer you a welcome sample worthy of a luxury restaurant, with two varieties of local taralli, homemade bread, sublime olive oil, and a delicious montanara. The owner is young, knowledgeable, and very approachable. The service is attentive and thoughtful. The food surprises me every time I go. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

18/10/2025: I chose the restaurant both because it has a Satispay agreement (so I can use company meal vouchers) and because of the good reviews I'd read online. We ordered an appetizer and two main courses: a duck and a fillet of meagre with samphire and potatoes (€28 for the fillet with samphire alone). After a few minutes, what I believe to be the owner returns to the table to inform us that the duck is unavailable—a shortcoming that, given the restaurant's "standards," should have been disclosed when ordering. The wait for our dishes is quite long: at least 30 minutes. When they finally arrive, we discover that one of them is incomplete. We're told, "Our apologies, but the samphire is out"—so one of the dish's three main ingredients is simply removed, without any warning or alternative offer. To my surprised reaction, the owner responds with a rather unfortunate question: "Do you even know what samphire is?" —I still wonder what that sentence meant. Result: a €28 dish reduced to a fillet of sea bass with three slices of potatoes. The icing on the cake: when I got the bill, I tried to pay with Satispay, but the owner said, "Well, I don't know if it works, I never use it." Spoiler: Satispay didn't work—or rather, it did work, but the owner wouldn't click "accept," despite me pointing it out several times. In the end: 1. I paid out of pocket. 2. I spent €122.50 for an appetizer, two main courses, a dessert, two glasses of wine (plus two dessert wines), and a coffee. 3. I received rude and inattentive service. 4. No discount or gesture of courtesy, despite the obvious shortcomings. 5. I look at the receipt and realize we paid €6 for a coffee (not even in St. Mark's Square in Venice) and donated 50 cents to an organization unknown to us, without asking us in advance (usually the 50 cents donated are deducted from the profit, not added to the customer's account without a request). The only positive note: the quality of the ingredients and the kindness of the rest of the staff (especially the lady in the dining room, who was truly courteous!). Unfortunately, given this situation, a customer can only leave feeling dissatisfied.

17/10/2025: A wonderful dinner in Lucca's historic center. The best restaurant in the city center... excellent food and impeccable service. The owner was able to accommodate every request! If you haven't stopped by for lunch or dinner, you haven't been to Lucca!

16/10/2025: I visited this restaurant for the first time with my husband and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent food, an enviable location in the heart of the city with a view of the Duomo and Baptistery, friendly service, and a well-stocked wine cellar. I highly recommend it!

13/10/2025: A half-successful attempt at gourmet dishes. The food was overall good, but the portions were meager and the bill was too high. I recommend adding something extra to the dishes, since if you're going for dinner, you don't need to overindulge, but you have to eat something. The service wasn't exceptional, a little slow, but overall friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful, quaint, and clean. Compliments to the sommelier, a very knowledgeable, kind, and well-suited young man with glasses.

07/11/2025: A lovely restaurant where you can enjoy excellent dishes. I would have liked to give it 5 stars for the food, but I'll give it 4 because, unfortunately, the seafood risotto was salty. The appetizer and dessert were exquisite. You can taste the quality of the ingredients used. On-site parking is available.
