The food is excellent. Everything we tried was truly delicious. They're also incredibly kind. Friendly and attentive, too. It might be a little noisy, but it's perfectly bearable. Highly recommended.

Tiny, or almost (but with a terrace...), this place will surprise you with its varied and delicious menu (food and wines), served with a smile and professional efficiency. Don't miss Barbara's delicious tiramisu! Away from the tourist crowds (but not too far), it's well worth the detour... One small drawback (a personal opinion): while the trio of tartares is very fresh, it's not particularly flavorful.

Delicious food and very kind wait staff! The chef came out to say hello to everyone which was a lovely touch.

A tasty lunch; on the occasion of the June 2nd holiday, we waited about forty minutes for our first course. Exceptional pasta, delicious amatriciana, I would have preferred the guanciale to be crispier.

Every course was a pleasant surprise, from appetizer to dessert. The value for money was also excellent, considering the level of service and the quality of the ingredients. I dined at Antica Trattoria Santo Padre near Via Veneto and had a truly excellent experience. The elegant yet welcoming atmosphere is perfect for an authentic Roman evening. The traditional dishes are prepared with great care: the carbonara and cacio e pepe are truly spectacular, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The service was impeccable, with the staff friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The quality-price ratio was also excellent considering the central location. I will definitely return next time I visit Rome. Highly recommended!

A restaurant that took the place and name of an old trattoria that for years was at the heart of Roman gastronomic tradition. Moreover, it's located in an area teeming with tourists, those seeking spaghetti with meatballs and fettuccine Alfredo. It seemed impossible to please everyone, Romans and non-Romans alike, yet this charming place manages to do so. The premises have been tastefully renovated. There's no noise, just pleasant piano music in the background, and everyone works hard to make their guests feel comfortable. The menu offers a mix of both, and here are spaghetti with meatballs (delicious) and traditional Roman dishes prepared with great care and skill. I remember a first-class carbonara and excellent saltimbocca alla romana, but the menu is long and varied. The desserts are all homemade by the very kind wife of one of the owners. All in all, a very pleasant evening in a restaurant that has a demanding legacy to uphold, and does so with passion and skill.

Dinner for two on May 4, 2026. Nice, welcoming place with a warm atmosphere. Centrally located, a 10-minute walk from Castro Pretorio. We ordered a carbonara, an amatriciana, two portions of baked potatoes, and one of meatballs in tomato sauce, along with two bottles of water for €63.50. I used €50 of Yummi credit. Everything was applied precisely and without any issues. The dishes were adequate in quantity and quality. Excellent service, led by a very friendly, welcoming, and cheerful lady. I also recommend it because it's authentic and not touristy.

What more can I say? Like any good Frenchman, I asked for cheese at the end of the meal, but a cheese with some real character... And then... I was treated to a top-notch Pecorino and Gorgonzola, and to top it all off, Barbara arrived with fresh broad beans to perfectly complement the Pecorino. Go for it without hesitation!
