15/12/2025: This place is so romantic. Samiy made our last night in Rome feel exclusive and romantic. (I hope I spelled his name correctly). Excellent food, excellent service. I would send friends a family here, no doubt. Eating here is a must if you’re in the area. The cab ride here would be worth it too.

06/12/2025: I've known this place, Nives, and her staff for many years. Coming back is always a delight for the palate and the soul, and the atmosphere is calm and familiar.
I recommend this place to friends and family with a silver platter because it's truly worth it.

We were three friends; we had an appetizer with cured meats, cheeses, meatballs, buckwheat crackers, and hummus, and a canapé with multigrain bread, anchovies, and red onion.
We then had three different courses: pizzoccheri, baked pasta with sheep's ragù, and roasted rabbit. All three were excellent.
Desserts were good.
The atmosphere was very nice, with just a few courses to choose from, which was fine.
We chatted with the chef, who was super kind.
If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely keep this place in mind.

07/12/2025: Wonderful place! Massimo and Cinzia are two wonderful and special souls, who take care of this little place with great love and attention. The dishes are unique, with just the right touch of experimentation while preserving the authentic flavors. The aromatic herbs they use to prepare some of their dishes are grown locally. The price is very reasonable, around €33 per person, and we ate so much, trying and sampling all the appetizers.

We had a truly excellent appetizer of culatello and parmesan biscuits, followed by a porcini mushroom, stracchino, and asparagus risotto that was exquisite. The staff were very kind, and the price was right. CONGRATULATIONS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

20/10/2025: We chose Palia's Hotel as a strategic base for exploring Calabria's parks by bike, and it was a great choice.
Ample parking, including a covered car park, a private garage for bicycles (with tools for minor maintenance available), comfortable and clean rooms, and the kindness and enthusiasm of Roberto (the owner), who, along with his wife (an excellent pastry chef), recommended and prepared superb breakfasts for us, making themselves available for any needs we had. It's a shame they no longer have a restaurant, but the bar is well-stocked, and there's a large display of excellent local products you can purchase to create a wonderful memory of these beautiful lands. Thanks again.
