We recommend the cheese course, the stuffed onion, the rabbit, the plin pasta in roast sauce, cheek (if available), and the duck leg! Gentlemen, it's a 5/5, you can't go wrong. The owner and the table service were friendly and approachable! Loving people. A quiet place (reservations required) to which we wish the best.

Then we moved on to the pizza: light, well-leavened dough and quality ingredients. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. A great experience, definitely worth repeating!

20/10/2025: I hadn't had good experiences with service in Italy, but this place was a huge relief, especially in that regard: the waiters were super friendly, willing to help, and even though they didn't speak fluent Spanish, they made an effort to understand us. That's where my experience started off well. We were greeted with tostones (fried plantains) and a glass of champagne 🥂 We had better service anywhere 🥰 The food: delicious! We tried octopus on a bed of potatoes as a starter: delicious! The octopus was super soft and delicious. We also had a pizza with prosciutto 🤤 This place is more than just a restaurant, it's a balm in the middle of a trip.

I ordered stracciatella and ricotta, a pairing that completely redefined gelato for me. The stracciatella had a silky vanilla base laced with delicate shards of chocolate that melted on the tongue. The ricotta was incredible: luxuriously creamy, with a natural sweetness and a gentle tang, like cheesecake in frozen form. Together, the flavors balanced richness with freshness, decadent yet refreshing and not too sweet. This is more than just a quick stop! It’s a place that captures the essence of Salento with artisanal quality and flavors that are memorable. Highly recommended if you’re anywhere near Otranto.

Chanced upon this place via chatgpt recommendation near our hotel and for an asian standard, its good. the services were fast and staffs were accommodative, though can be improved because the staff messed up 2 out of 5 orders, but it was sorted as it was a busy day in the shop, so it was acceptable.
