15/06/2025: Martinelli It's lamb offal, tripe with ragù, local cold cuts and cheeses, caramelized red onion, beans with pork rinds. And then gnocchi with roe deer and tagliatelle with mushrooms. And then lamb shoulder with artichokes and soft and succulent Florentine steak. And then cantucci with vin santo. Martinelli It's "the meat" in company, a cheerful and friendly table that the very kind and easy-going staff takes on a culinary journey of times gone by. And at the end of the meal, on late spring evenings, a walk around the restaurant offers a magnificent show of fireflies! Wonderful!

Il cibo è sublime e l' attenzione per i particolari è davvero notevole. L' eleganza e la professionalità di Monica rendono l' esperienza un bellissimo viaggio (tra sapori e sensazioni) ricco di colore. 12/05/2025: Motorcycle group stop for Parco delle Fate, place with a very elegant outdoor area shaded by a large chestnut tree, fast and professional service, second stop for coffee on the way back and we learn of the possibility of tasting local platters and roast meats, we will take this into account for the next trip, so as not to eat the usual sandwiches brought from home.

Very beautiful inside, good service, they also serve gluten-free food and have special dishes, of their own production, exquisite, uncommon and which are certainly an excellence of the Braceria. Excellent meat cooked in full view. We will have to return to taste the other products. Compliments

23/06/2025: I was only in Verona for a week, visiting with a crew of somewhat high-maintenance travel companions (my mom and three of her friends)—but we were all able to agree on dinner at Osteria Scalin *twice* during our stay. The special menu items we tried were different and truly innovative, and all the food we had was delicious (shout out to the anchovy and burrata pizza). The staff was knowledgeable and everyone was very gracious about special requests and questions. I hope to return multiple times on a future trip to Verona!

29/05/2025: Sitting here as I write this, because this cannoli is magical. I ordered a cappuccino and a cannolo. The cappuccino was great, but then I bit into the cannoli, and this is certainly the best cannoli I’ve ever had in my life. You don’t see them on display because they keep the materials in the back to prepare it fresh when you order. The shell is crisp and flaky, not greasy at all. The filling was still cool from being refrigerated, but very soft, and the perfect sweetness. The people are very friendly, the prices are, I expect, local prices, the cafe interior is lovely, and the patio views are wonderful. I will for sure be back!

01/06/2025: Me and my husband stumbled across this restaurant, and it definitely did not disappoint the food was delicious and the service was impecable, we ordered truffle pasta, the steak, and the chocolate cake was to die for! The supervisor and waiter was very attentive and created a positive experience, thank you Nichola and Darko for the extraordinary service !

14/06/2025: Place tried as a restaurant and not for stay. The internal room has a beautiful view of the hills. The tables outside are located in the courtyard of the farmhouse.

19/05/2025: Great experience, perfect octopus and with the pasta and potatoes I went home, with the taste of the parmesan rind typical of the Neapolitan recipe. Nice background music, service perhaps to improve a little.

19/06/2025: This unassuming place is well worth the visit during a lunch rush. So many choices, reasonable prices, and simply good food made fresh. The couple who own and run the place are super nice and clearly talented. Really glad we stopped in!

24/06/2025: The steak is cheap and delicious. And there is no wine on the menu, but there is wine by the glass. I wonder if they made it not salty on purpose, but it was the least salty food I had in Italy, so it was delicious.
