24/08/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at Vecio Macello during a short visit to Verona, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The restaurant offers not only exceptional seafood dishes and pasta but also boasts an incredibly friendly and attentive staff. I had a bit of a mishap and left my backpack, which contained valuable items, at the restaurant. To my great relief, the staff handled the situation with utmost professionalism and kindness, ensuring I got it back the same day. This level of care, combined with their delicious food, makes Vecio Macello a must-visit. I will definitely return next time I’m in Verona!

28/07/2024: We were there for the second time on our vacation. The ambience is great! Small and very comfortably furnished with a sense of detail. The food is of a very high quality and is very reasonably priced. Very large selection of wines and other spirits. Very friendly service, which was solved with Google Translate despite language difficulties. If we are in the area again on vacation, we would be happy to come back. Thank you for a great evening.

In my opinion, not to be missed is the baked robiolina with speck, honey and hazelnuts (but it's all delicious, I'd say you always land on your feet whatever you choose). 26/08/2024: Vista l'esperienza molto positiva con amici, sono ritornato a cena con la famiglia. Questa volta ho voluto provare un menu' a base di carne, a differenza della volta precedente che ho provato un menu' a base di pesce, per rendermi effettivamente conto della bontà del locale e della preparazione delle pietanze. Devo riconoscere che, oltre all'ospitalità e professionalità, anche il menù a base di carne era veramente ottimo. Ho preso un antipasto di vitello tonnato e come secondo una tagliata. Entrambi ottimi in special modo la carne della tagliata, piatto che spesso prendo anche in altri locali per provare le differenze. Carne ben cucinata a cottura media ed estremamente morbida. Che dire di più, a mio giudizio un bel 10, anche per il personale attento e gentile. Lo raccomando sentitamente.

30/08/2024: Arrived in Pisa later in the day for our last evening of holiday with virtually no expectations whatsoever of restaurant choice. Found this place and its good reviews. It turned out to be the best dinner of the whole holiday, the food was delicious, the prices were more than reasonable, cozy service but above all an exceptionally friendly and guiding waiter. He made our last night memorable! - A must in Pisa!

Cucina sempre in evoluzione, sapori e abbinamenti coniugati alla perfezione qualità e freschezza dei prodotti sempre al top. Consiglio di assaggiare tutto: dall'antipasto, ai primi, fino al secondo perché sono ogni volta una scoperta, non il classico piatto scontato. Servizio all'altezza di tutto il contesto, contraddistinto da gentilezza e professionalità, oltre ai tempi perfetti tra una portata e l'altra. La location, curata, è tutta da ammirare... Ritornata più di una volta, consigliatissimo per chi ama la cucina di qualità.

Un must assoluto per i buongustai e gli amanti dell'alta società Cucina. Il servizio è impeccabile e aggiunge significativamente all'esperienza complessiva. Il personale non è solo cordiale e attento, ma anche molto competente. I consigli dei camerieri sono sempre accurati.

Piccola ma molto fornita enoteca; oltre ai vini ovviamente vari prodotti del territorio, olio, miele, formaggi, sughi, ecc…. Servizio veloce e curato, abbiamo preso un tagliere di affettati locali e strozzapreti fave e guanciale, tutto ottimo. Vino rosato al calice top. Prezzi in linea con il tipo di locale

18/08/2024: What can I say except: VERY GOOD!! I believe that the difference is always made by the staff, who work with professionalism without any doubt! We were welcomed and taken to the table with professionalism and kindness. The waiter who served us (Gennaro) was really professional and smart, fast and with manners that should teach many of his colleagues throughout the area (the same goes for those who accompanied us to the table and who we later found at the counting time!). Quality food and cooked perfectly (see photo)! They mature cured meats and cheeses in their cellar which you can also visit! In short, we will return several times... and we definitely will!! The only flaw is the outdoor terrace which I imagined was high up but instead I found myself on the ground floor with no view!! But it's still good!

The flavors offered are both classic and innovative, many follow seasonality, they are produced from exceptional raw materials, the cakes are also excellent! Most of the flavors and cakes are gluten-free and they also have gluten-free cones and brioches available and will be served with all the precautions to limit contamination! The completely renovated restaurant still maintains the welcoming and familiar "spirit" of the historic one, the staff is very kind and extremely helpful!
