03/11/2025: I was there for a very large local wedding, with many different facilities that are currently being developed. The view was beautiful. The service and food were excellent. It was very nice in the evening.

17/10/2025: I was invited to a wedding for the first time, a friend's wedding, I can safely say that from the moment I arrived to the end, both in terms of organization and food, I was really satisfied, absolutely a wonderful location.

21/11/2025: Thin and very good pizza in a very spartan environment, portions not very abundant but that can also be enough for dinner. Not many seats, nice entrance in a medieval square. Pizza, beer, chips and amaro 20 euros, more than honest!!!

21/11/2025: I went to Salicicchia for a simple dinner of pizza and dessert, and I have to say it was well worth it. The pizza is excellent: light dough, well-cooked, carefully topped with quality ingredients. It's one of those pizzas you enjoy eating until the last bite without feeling heavy. The dessert was also memorable: delicious, fresh, carefully made, and not just another "just-in-time" dessert. You can tell there's passion even at the end of the meal, and that's always a pleasure. But the real added value of the place is the owner: a very nice, friendly person, the kind who welcomes you with a smile and immediately puts you at ease. That genuine friendliness makes the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Salicicchia is a place where you eat well and feel good. Perfect for a quiet evening, without frills but with plenty of quality and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

16/12/2025: Absolutely brilliant cafe/bistro. The gentlemen running the shop are stellar and very friendly. We had the most wonderful time chatting with them about Italian cuisine and had some of the best coffees, hot chocolates, and sandwhiches during our time in Rome. We went back multiple times! Each time greeted with friendly faces, and then eventually welcomed like regulars. We watched several people come in and out as clear regulars to this shop - which was lovely to see. A true community feel. But of course, the food was delicious. Lovely atmosphere. Great service! Would come back in a heartbeat. Not to be missed!

12/10/2025: A restaurant a bit out of the way, but within walking distance of the city center in about 15 minutes. The restaurant is small but cozy, located in a basement. The tiny mezzanine, with a few tables, is charming, creating a sense of distance from the rest of the space below. Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting. The menu is excellent, not overly varied or elaborate, yet very interesting. Traditional dishes, more or less elaborate, are well-proportioned. The wine list is good. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Parking is available. The price/quality ratio is decent.

28/11/2025: This restaurant serves excellent meat, everything is high-quality and carefully selected. The owners are very kind and explain each dish to you. Prices are average, but the quality is excellent. The wines are also excellent.

04/11/2025: Thanks to a bonus I got on a website (it’s mentioned in the photo), I decided to go out for dinner. The seafood was amazing — especially the shrimp. Didn’t spend it all, of course, but this dinner made the evening feel special.

13/11/2025: A wonderful pastry shop about a 15-20 minute walk from the cathedral in Palermo, where you wouldn't expect to find something like this. It's definitely worth the trip! Very friendly, helpful staff and fair prices for excellent products.

The owner is a delightful, competent person, and the entire staff is top-notch with exceptional courtesy. Here, you can experience the atmosphere of an "old-fashioned restaurant," with attention to the smallest details as well as knowledge of the local area and its traditional specialties.
