14/07/2025: "Il Mangiabottoni" was a pleasant discovery! A somewhat hidden osteria, but located in a beautiful setting. Exceptional dishes (I can't describe the veal tartare with brioche bread... out of this world!), excellent service, and a very elegant location. Average prices. Definitely worth a visit!

08/08/2025: We had the best dining experience of our life here! The chef is one of those remarkably unique people who cares so much about food and puts his whole heart into his craft. We had a full gluten free meal, we had many options to choose from and we were absolutely amazed by each bite. 14/10, as much as I love to complain I have no notes here, we’ll be back as soon as we can. 08/08/2025: My best restaurant experience EVER! Gluten free or not, this is the best place to eat on this planet in my opinion. Food was beyond words and out of this world! And for coeliacs and gluten free, the chef was more than willing to make everything perfectly contamination free, while most items were made gluten free regardless. Interior design and lighting is cozy and very welcoming, nothing pretentious but still every detail considered. Cannot recommend this place enough, and especially recommend the chicken tempura!

04/09/2025: Absolutely amazing food and wonderful customer service. I have severe nut allergies and they were amazing to accommodate me, even brought me out all the ingredients on the products they used. 100% would recommend here for the food and service.

The owners are very attentive and clearly care about offering their customers a great experience, without being intrusive. A memorable dining experience. Excellent dishes, paired with whiskey (and more). A place you'll want to return to.

27/08/2025: Pereta is a gem, and the restaurant was fantastic—both for its location, recommendations, and extremely kind staff—and the excellent food. My favorite dish: suckling pig! The prices are old-fashioned. We recommend booking.

18/07/2025: Last night at dinner, I was talking to a friend who had just returned from vacation (on the Red Sea, I think), and he recommended buying bread and pastries from this shop not far from Castro Pretorio. This friend of mine has always given me perfect advice... and not just about food, so I wanted to indulge him and promised I'd go... so I did... RESULT!!??: EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Small and cozy place, very colorful and cheerful!!! I don't remember the name of the girl who served me, but she really knew everything about recipes, quantities... a surprise. I'm obsessive about asking questions and want to be sure there's no cross-contamination... I asked a ton of questions that would have exhausted anyone... but she was always available to clear up any doubts I had. !!!! I'll be back!!

13/07/2025: How to turn celiac disease into an advantage. I've been going to this little gem near Termini Station for years. Here, you immediately feel at home, welcomed by the warmth of the staff and the aroma wafting from the street corner. I can't start my workday without their donuts...or finish dinner without mopping up the bread with their artisanal bread. If I really had to find a flaw: THEY SHOULD BE OPEN 24/7!! 😉😉

14/07/2025: We stayed in this neighborhood during our stay in Rome, and we had breakfast here every day we could. The prices are very low for being right next to the Vatican, and everything is delicious. If you go further up the street, you'll pay double for much lower quality. The owners are incredibly friendly and approachable, very pleasant. 100% recommended place!

29/05/2025: Small restaurant, in the Lucio Sestio area, the offer is reserved for those who love Japanese cuisine, good choice of appetizers and first courses, remarkable ramen, which I must say is very very abundant! You pay the right amount, the quality for what I was able to taste is excellent! Easy-going service, but fast and attentive.

07/09/2025: Step outside the main dining centre of Monopoli to find this hidden gem. Metae is a must to try when in Monopoli. Chef Massimo uses local fresh ingredients in a unique way to create an incredibly interesting and delicious dining experience. I came here with my tour group and Massimo created a divine menu for us which was just perfect. Our wonderful waiter Enzo bought us the perfect accompaniment of local wines which were also a standout. This is my 4th time dining at Metae and it won’t be my last. Hands down uniquely diverse and delicious menu and a must when visiting Monopoli. Definitely book before hand.

06/09/2025: The restaurant is located in the heart of Monopoli, just steps from the quaint alleys of the historic center. The restaurant is intimate and bright, with clean, well-finished lines. Owner Enzo and his staff pamper guests with extreme kindness, offering passionate advice and making the experience a family affair. The cuisine is refined, with seafood dishes revisited with a modern twist, thanks to the freshest ingredients.

18/08/2025: We had pizza for dinner and I loved it. It was super delicious, super filling, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The pizza maker was wonderful, a man who knows what he's doing.
