10/06/2025: Heerlijke pizza’s en authentieke Siciliaanse ervaring. We hebben hier twee pizza’s gegeten met dessert. Eenvoudig restaurant maar heerlijk eten en heel vriendelijke bediening door de familie. Wij komen hier graag nog terug.

17/06/2025: A wonderful place, a real paradise with an exceptional park, with the lake and the ducks, I was there on June 7th at a friends' wedding, I ate well and above all drank great, the wines matched the food, professional and polite staff always ready to answer any questions and requests, I will definitely return.

12/05/2025: Consigliatissimo. Abbiamo prenotato in questo locale perché era nello stesso comune dove dormivamo. La piacevole scoperta è stata che la famiglia che gestisce l'enoteca/ristorante è la stessa che gestisce il b&b il Gufo che si trova a 1 metro di distanza. È a gestione familiare ma questo non vuol dire che manchi di professionalità... anzi!!! Cibo e vino di qualità e porzioni abbondanti. P.S. L' Aperol Spritz a 2.50€ accompagnato con fetta di pane farcita con crudo San Daniele tanta roba!!!... ma non diteglielo 🙊.

08/06/2025: Siamo capitati durante la festa del prosciutto e c'era la possibilità di mangiare solo un menù fisso, con crudo , mozzarella e olive taggiasche come piatto principale. Il prosciutto era, a mio avviso, un po' troppo fresco, e nel complesso, un po' scarso. Buono il cestino col pane di Altamura, prontamente rifornito dal gentile ragazzo ai tavoli. Da riprovare con altre pietanze in altre occasioni.

03/06/2025: Welcoming place and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a quiet evening. The cured meats and cheeses are really excellent quality, served in generous portions and at a more than fair price. The possibility of purchasing the products directly in the shop is very interesting: a nice idea also for a gift or to share at home. The proposed menus are well thought out and satiate without weighing you down. The only thing that would further improve the experience would be the addition of some vegetable-based side dishes, to better balance the meal. Friendly and attentive staff. Must try!

12/06/2025: Great help from the waitress who spoke perfect English. I asked for an extra well done steak (because of pregnancy) and I got that too :) also got suggestions for dessert (which was also delicious, go for the chocolate almond cake!). Top service!

27/03/2025: This place is simply amazing. I remember going since I was a child with my mother and their offer and products never stop to amaze me. The owners and people that works there are lovely and always ready to give you good advice and make you taste some of their most prestigious cheeses.

25/03/2025: This is one of the best “cheese stores " I’ve ever been to. I live in Rome for four years, so I had the chance to explore plenty of Roman and Italian cuisine, but this is the best store for cheese I’ve been to in Rome! The owner, Mr. Micocci, is such a nice and gentlemanly person—he offers a variety of cheese when he prepares the cheese for you.

We had already been to D’O years ago, when it had 1 star and the restaurant was located on the main street of the town and we were impressed by its approach, the research of ingredients, the contrasts between hot and cold, soft and crunchy, acidic and basic. It was nice to come back and relive this experience together with my brother and our companions: I wanted to give him a memorable experience for his birthday because I think it is beautiful to share the joys of life with the people you love. Beyond the awards collected along their path which are still worthy of note, the growth of Davide and his team is palpable in every detail, every sip, every bite. Nothing is left to chance. The caramelized onion is extraordinary, over the years he has managed to improve something that seemed to have already reached perfection in its original version. We were so eager to taste the dish that we even forgot to take a photo 😉 Excellent service: the staff is on average very young but super qualified, they are an army and always present but never obsessive. A sublime experience that is worth every euro spent imho. 🙏

15/06/2025: Great experience! Elegant atmosphere, staff present but not intrusive. Great technique in the dishes, quality ingredients. Nice to be able to exchange a few words with the chef. Fair value for money. I share the photos of some dishes that particularly impressed me.

25/06/2025: An evening at Ristorante Pirò, in the heart of Rome, is an experience that will remain in your memory. From the first moment you can feel the attention to detail, that rare care that is found both in the dishes and in the atmosphere. The chopped red prawns was simply unforgettable: very fresh, balanced, with that delicacy that only the expert hand of someone who really knows the raw material can enhance. Each bite was a small masterpiece of flavor, a hymn to the most authentic sea. The fish, in general, is surprisingly fresh, which is clearly evident in every course, from raw fish to first courses. You immediately sense that behind every choice there is a rigorous selection of the product and great sensitivity in the processing. Nothing is left to chance. The service also deserves special praise: attentive, thoughtful, always present but never intrusive. The staff is welcoming, kind and makes the experience relaxed and very pleasant. Finally, a detail that makes the difference and that elsewhere is increasingly rare: silence. The atmosphere is intimate and quiet, perfect for a peaceful conversation, without having to raise your voice, without being disturbed by intrusive noises. And to conclude, almost like an elegant signature on an already perfect canvas, the frozen lemon slices served at the end: very fresh, fragrant, refined in their simplicity, capable of cleansing the palate and leaving a last, delicious memory. Pirò is one of those places where you gladly return, because it makes you feel at home with elegance and taste. A true Roman jewel.

12/06/2025: Leckeres Essen, guter Preis. Nette Bedienung. Tolles Ambiente. Man sitzt in einer Seitengasse. Nur ein paar Tische, dennoch gemütlich. Achten auf Hunde, sehr freundlich.

08/06/2025: The sticco, a type of slow-cooked meat with an intense and tender flavor, is especially delicious. The wine is very good. The tiramisu isn't worth it... it's sparse and seems like cream, not mascarpone... The service is attentive, and the terrace is cool.
