If you're looking to dine at a niche Roman osteria serving tasty thin-crust pizza, you've come to the right place. The decor, flavors, and aromas are reminiscent of home and childhood, bringing to mind authenticity and Sunday lunch. The owners are known for their "pampering," treating their customers with kid gloves, and the service is impeccable and attentive.
The pizza is unique; no matter the flavor, the dough is impossible to replicate, and you'll always want more. And what can I say about the appetizers? Like the rest of the menu, they're exceptional and of superb quality.
What more can I say? You'll just have to try them to believe them. Oh, and I almost forgot about the affordable price.

We stayed here during a weekend in Viterbo and were pleasantly surprised by this simple place located right at the entrance to the medieval city walls. The atmosphere was family-friendly, the service was prompt, and despite the place being packed, the service was quick.
The owners were extremely kind and helpful, and the waitress was lovely and friendly.
We had a delicious pizza made with a special dough and served by the slice (you can choose up to three flavors per slice). It was a great experience; we'll definitely be back!

Very good thin-crust pizza in a very spartan setting. Portions aren't particularly large, but they're enough for dinner.
There's not much seating, and the entrance is charming, set in a medieval square.
Pizza, beer, fries, and amaro are 20 euros—more than reasonable!

I went to Salicicchia for a simple dinner of pizza and dessert, and I have to say it was well worth it. The pizza is excellent: light dough, well-cooked, carefully topped with quality ingredients. It's one of those pizzas you enjoy eating until the last bite without feeling heavy.
The dessert was also memorable: delicious, fresh, carefully made, and not just another "just-in-time" dessert. You can tell there's passion even at the end of the meal, and that's always a pleasure.
But the real added value of the place is the owner: a very nice, friendly person, the kind who welcomes you with a smile and immediately puts you at ease. That genuine friendliness makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, Salicicchia is a place where you eat well and feel good. Perfect for a quiet evening, without frills but with plenty of quality and warm hospitality.
Highly recommended!
