We had lunch at Easter. Excellent food and very kind waiters. We took the pici with garlic, the pappardelle with white ragù and then we shared a slice of beef with some baked potatoes. All very good

One of warmest, most welcoming and delicious dinners I’ve ever had in Italy! It’s not often anymore you can walk inside a restaurant in a tourist spot and be welcomed like family. Our incredibly delicious dinner and evening with Beatrice and Marcello made my whole day. They are simply bursting with passion, love and dedication for sharing happiness through food and hospitality. I wish every restaurant treated their customers like this. Beatrice is very entertaining, I really hope I see her again! The food is excellent, some of the best pasta I’ve ever had!

I wouldn't know where to start. Courteous, friendly and welcoming staff. The wonderful Tuscan cured meat platter with lots of special cold cuts. The beef steak is delicious and has many side dishes to go with it. We then took 2 first courses of pici with different condiments (Tuscan ragù and white ragù with fresh truffle) which were to die for. And finally the dessert: one of the best homemade tiramisu I've ever eaten in my life. All at the modest price of 35 euros per person (coffee and bitters offered on the house - little cuddles that are good for the heart). Honestly, I would have paid double and it would still have been worth it.

Really positive experience starting from the friendliness of the staff, excellent food in all aspects, very honest prices, abundant quantity of food on the plates, if you are in Montepulciano you must try it, you won't regret it!!!!!

I have been living in Italy for 3 years, have been to multiple cities, naples, Bari, Lecche, Bologna, Verona, Roma, Milano,etc and I have not been so well received and so welcomed in a place like today! Food was insanely good and so was the wine 10/10 for everything!

…Ristorante “Ai Quattro Venti”!!….a Montepulciano!!…il locale si affaccia proprio su una delle Piazze più belle d’Italia!!…Piazza Grande!!…per cui location fantastica!!…di passaggio in questo borgo…con una mia amica…mi sono fermata per l’ora di pranzo…per gustare qualche buon piatto toscano!!…complice la bellissima giornata di sole di ottobre!!…ci siamo seduti a un tavolino all’aperto!!…la lista del menù è veramente varia!!…ma io ho preso la ribollita!!…chiaramente accompagnata da un buon bicchiere di vino rosso di Montepulciano!!…e a seguire il caffè!!…personale molto gentile e disponibile e non è di questi tempi!!…anche sorridenti!!…lo consiglio vivamente e tornerò a Montepulciano!!…e sicuramente tornerò al ristorante “Ai Quattro Venti”!!…si si!!…sono stata proprio bene!!…

If you are making plans to be in Montepulciano and you have not put this on your list of places to eat at, change your plans and add it. Trust in the suggestions of Beatrice or Claudia and you will be happy with both the food and the wine. We know them from previous visits and their wine knowledge is superior. This is not just for tourists although in a great location in the Piazza Grande. Locals know a good thing too. A most amiable place to spend time with great wine and food.
