17/10/2025: Complete experience 🍕, just steps from the Uffizi, elegant yet informal atmosphere. Seated on the terrace overlooking Piazza della Signoria: a magical atmosphere at sunset. The staff was attentive and never intrusive, with perfect service times. We chose a Tuscan appetizer, followed by tagliatelle with ragù and house lasagna: everything balanced in flavor. The wine list was well-thought out: the recommended Chianti paired perfectly with the dishes. Excellent homemade desserts (tiramisu and cheesecake) and the price was reasonable for the location.

07/10/2025: A charming restaurant/shop near Domodossola, where you're immediately struck by a vast and carefully curated selection of wines and spirits, the hallmarks of the restaurant's atmosphere. You can order several bottles, with a wide selection of local and Italian wines, as well as wines by the glass, served with a pump system to prevent oxidation of the remaining wine in the bottle. The cuisine is very good, with simple yet well-prepared and beautifully presented ingredients; the main courses are pleasantly generous. The desserts are unique and excellent. The bill is a bit high, reasonable for the main courses and a bit high for the appetizers and first courses; I would avoid the €2.50-€3 cover charge. I would have offered a couple of extra amaros on a bill of over €500 that included the purchase of a large bottle of whisky. You can also purchase local cheeses, jams, and other products. For those who want to treat themselves every now and then, this is an excellent place that is worth a visit for both the food and the good drinks.

03/10/2025: Currently there’s no sign for the restaurant so appears it doesn’t exist and/or not open. Feels like a true local spot… trust me one of you be brave and go to the door up the short flight of stairs off the main road & you won’t be disappointed! Lovely service even if a language barrier sometimes, great selection of wine and yummy fresh food, recommend if you’re in the area :)

11/10/2025: This is the second time my partner and I have been here. Enzo remembered us perfectly and welcomed us with his spontaneous, affectionate (true) but never intrusive manner. The dishes were exquisite, with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Going to Enzo's is like being in a familiar, yet perfectly vintage, atmosphere. We highly recommend Trattoria La Campana!

08/10/2025: Sunday lunch was a pleasant success. Excellent food, sublime Bolognese. A special mention to Enzo, who was very kind. I didn't give the ambiance five stars, although it was spotless, due to its location, which is a bit out of the way. Unfortunately, you can't go for a walk after lunch.

16/10/2025: I’ve only written 3 reviews in Rapallo. For those reading this, PLEASE go to the good ones and NOT the single bad one. DON’T make the same mistake I did. Armida 1905 is true to the fresh ingredients they have from their amazing proximity to the Ligurian coast, homey, warm, and most importantly, extremely flavorful. You are taken care of by staff that truly smile because they are happy to be serving delicious food. If you want a no frills, amazingly FOCUSED on simplicity food, then this is the place for you. We had the: Catch of the day - Sea Bass. Grilled to perfection with crisp fresh vegetables. Nothing else needed to be done and it was one of the best fish I’ve ever had. Octopus Ragu with Squid Ink Pasta Special. Balanced, perfect play between the squid ink and octopus which can all typically lead to something too umami. Wine list is local and much preferred. Don’t be scared to go into the glass of the day, because unlike some restaurants, they actually have good wine to serve by the glass. GO HERE AND NOT THE PLACE NEXT DOOR

27/09/2025: Every time I'm in the area, I love having lunch at Il Profumo della Frescita. The food is spectacular, always beautifully presented, and the fresh vegetables are incredibly flavorful. I highly recommend the pumpkin crepes. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

02/10/2025: We would highly recommend this restaurant! We have traveled the western coat line of Italy for 15 days and this was our best meal! Freshest, homemade, different than other menu’s, and the service top notch and friendly. We had the fried vegetables , T-bone, and truffle ravioli. Excellent!!!
