13/04/2025: This evening I had the pleasure of having a nice dinner with my friends. The atmosphere was already warm as soon as we entered, the waiters and all the staff were on point, the wine glass was never empty from starter to dessert. We left with a bang! a slightly bland salmon but with a touch of salt had its own reason, polenta and creamed cod at the top of formula one and the scallop with leek cream transported us to the oceanic world. The mushrooms had a slight risotto flavor but were very good (Giulia loved them). The tagliolini were evidently the strong point, too bad my friend drank too much and acted silly, consequently she couldn't appreciate the porosity of the octopus. As for the second courses, they were real gems, the crab was a little uncomfortable to eat but when you tasted that little bit of pulp it was incontrovertibly an explosion of flavours, Giulia really liked the clams. The grilled prawns ended up a bit on the carpet, but really, really good. Between one cigarette and another the wine glass was constantly refilled and we really appreciated it. The dessert was a very original contrast of flavors, the freshness of the cream was an oxymoron with the warmth of the berries (almost exciting!), we appreciated the biscuit. When we thought we had finished (now full) it was time for the grappa, I recommend the combination of ginger and gogi berries if you want to appreciate even more the magic show proposed to the diners (I highly recommend going to the bathroom before it starts). Still not happy, we took the tour of the cellars, it was a pity that Marino was not there to explain to us about his friendship with Putin, on the other hand the grappas had a strong and pleasant flavor to finish the dinner. Final bill a little salty (80 pleura per person) BUT I must say well spent, we also identified in the maitre (very nice) a notable ability in taking photos and available to bring back the cell phone forgotten by our friend Pierbazzani on the table Highly recommended to all the inhabitants of the area and surrounding areas. I recommend that you don't let the driver drink.

11/04/2025: Nonostante venga a Campiglio da moltssimi anni non conoscevo questo posto. Grazie ad un amico che mi ci ha portato sono stato al Palù ed ho scoperto un ambiente suggestivo incastonato nella natura sopra Campo Carlo Magno. Arredi in stile rifugio moderno di montagna ed accoglienza calorosa fanno presagire ottimi piatti. La cucina è buona anche se rispetto ai miei gusti forse mi aspettavo qualcosa di diverso, in prticolare per l'uovo come antipasto che lo credevo intero anzichè in forma liquida mescolato al resto del condimento. Il cervo buono ed il vino d'accompagnamento piacevole. Sono convinto che vi siano altri gustosi piatti da provare e per questo motivo vorrò tornarci. Il prezzo è nella media, direi congruo per la location e la qualità dell'offerta (€ 45-50 a testa contate di investirle).

07/04/2025: Accoglienza fantastica e cucina eccellente Il tavolo a fianco si lamentava della cottura del riso, ma come spiegato dal cameriere, purtroppo la cottura dei primi… e non solo, sono gusti soggettivi. Per conto mio e della mia famiglia posso solo che dire COMPLIMENTI a tutti 👍

16/06/2025: Chef Sabina, squeezed us in last minute - we got to sit at the bar and watch them work their magic. It is alittle daunting not knowing what you will be eating - but “fortune favours the brave” the best meal we have had on our trip to Lake Orta. Sublime, beautifully presented dishes, a taste sensation. Would highly recommend, and suggest booking in advance

16/06/2025: Had lunch here with friends didn't know much about the place before my visit as was booked by friends. I got a little shock when I heard the menu was a surprise but it was an amazing experience. We had 5 different courses and each one was as spectacular as the next. The host was the sweetest woman who does all the cooking along with two other women. You can see straight into the kitchen from your table and she explains what each course is as it's brought out. The decor in the restaurant was stunning and it was by far my best food experience in many years. I would most definitely return and I highly recommend anyone to try it as it's a unique experience with amazing food.

17/06/2025: Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist im Cambusa sehr gut. Wir bekamen begleitend Brot: Weißbrot getoastet mit Öl und ein dunkles Brot, das besonders gut war. Wir haben uns für Nudeln mit Hummer entschieden. Geschmacklich waren sie sehr gut. Bei der Frage, ob man uns den Hummer schon ausnehmen kann, kam man uns leider nicht ganz so entgegen, wie wir uns das gewünscht hätten. Wir mussten uns Teile nachträglich öffnen lassen und auch selbst die Finger zur Hilfe nehmen. Gerne hätten wir noch Garnelen probiert, aber auch diese gab es ungeschält.

22/06/2025: Food from all courses absolutely delicious with lovely unexpected additions. Service a perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. Frequently underwhelmed when eating out in Italy as the food is often overhyped. So pleased to say that this experience was to the contrary. Recommended, and will definitely return when next in beautiful Verona.

12/06/2025: Very good, they make a very good pizza! Small place but the guy is super professional and kind. The calzone was incredible! the only thing that didn't drive me crazy was that I would have preferred the escarole sautéed/re-sautéed first, instead of raw. Anyway, congratulations, I'll be back as soon as possible!

22/06/2025: Today was our second visit to Gasthof Jäger – and certainly not our last! In glorious weather, we were able to sit in the beautiful garden and enjoy the breathtaking view all the way to the Dolomites. That alone would have been a highlight, but the food topped it all! From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was prepared with great attention to detail. A true culinary experience: varied, finely balanced, and simply delicious! You can really feel how much passion goes into the kitchen – and the service was also incredibly attentive and warm. A huge thank you to the entire team at Gasthof Jäger for this thoroughly enjoyable evening. We're already looking forward to the next time!

19/06/2025: One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The setting, food and service was exceptional. An amazing wine selection with very knowledgeable staff. A small, but concise menu of locally sourced classic dishes. If you want a vast confusing menu, this place isn’t for you. But if you’re happy to let the locals take control and show you the best of real Italian cooking, this place is perfect. 10 / 10

06/06/2025: What can I say about Francesco Forti Ricevimenti, it is the perfect, unique and rare place to celebrate the most important day of your life. The owner, Francesco, is a fantastic person from every point of view and takes care of everything, really everything in detail. A wonderful location, sensational food and quality ... each of our guests complimented us and were thrilled with our wedding. We thank everyone again from the bottom of our hearts, especially Francesco for the UNFORGETTABLE day we spent. If I could, I would have given 6 stars!!!
