27/07/2024: Culinary experience. The only useful words to describe the evening spent. Pampered from the moment we arrived, we were looked after throughout the dinner, with advice that made the evening truly perfect. It is useless to talk about the dishes: experiential and surprising, like the Amare salad which I would define as "sparkling", certainly unexpected. The first and second courses are also excellent with explosions of flavour, well-made combinations and presentations worthy of their fame. I recommend the cheese trolley which, if you are not familiar with, you can have prepared by relying on their profound knowledge of the products. The choice of wines is also tasty. The elegant and refined environment, as well as silent, acts as a glue for the whole evening. Too bad there isn't a sea view, it would have been perfect.

01/08/2024: Excellent Neapolitan pizza with super light dough. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There are tables both inside with air conditioning and outside. All the dishes are excellent, including the desserts, especially the cheesecake. I will definitely be back

24/07/2024: Quality meats and raw materials, quick service, waiters available to provide directions. Delicious house wine. Average prices. The presence of explanations on the cuts that are served is appreciable, also interesting is the fact that the degree of cooking of the meat is specified. Also very interesting are the notes on the history of the owners' family, who have been running the business since the sixth generation!

06/07/2024: Wow. If you want Florence steakhouse, this is it. It was our first night in town and we did not regret going here. We got the Tuscan Menu and they started us off with a platter of amazing assorted meats. Then they brought out a Florentine steak and it was quite possibly the best steak I’ve ever eaten. The service was absolutely top notch and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence.

06/07/2024: Vinimos a comer. ....buenísimo todo. Excelente calidad de la carne. El lugar muy bonito tranquilo y limpio. Lo mejor ....el personal ( Oliver , Philoppo y Alberto )Atentos en todo momento, amables, todo lo que diga es poco. Calidad/precio buena. Lo último la tarta que queso con reducción de chianti ...mmmmmmm!!

27/07/2024: A unique human and culinary experience, to be repeated without further delay. ✨ La Locanda del Gallo offered us an exceptional meal that made us fall in love with Tuscan flavors. Everything is fresh, artisanal, and made with the heart. The staff was professional and very pleasant: we had the feeling of being pampered despite the language barrier (we do not speak Italian and little English). The breathtaking view of the extensive and hilly landscape contributes to the sensory journey that this meal constitutes. Everything is perfect, tasty, there are no negative points. When we return to the region, there is no doubt that we will dine again in this incredible restaurant, and inexpensive too! A memorable memory. Grazie mille 🙏🙏🙏

20/08/2024: Il San Pietro di Positano is my home away from home where I am treated like family. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel from the friendly staff to the ammenities and the beautiful views. I recommend this hotel to everyone. A must stay if you ever decide to visit Positano!

23/06/2024: A friendly address which had the good taste of still being open at 1:30 p.m. We took the lunch menu which is very affordable (12-13€) and which covers two dishes, cover and water. I had nduja pasta as a first course, which was not exceptional. Cooked al dente but a little dry texture, not much sauce and not much nduja. Damage. On the other hand, it was very spicy and quite good. For the main course I had a piece of roast pork which was very good, accompanied by peas (frozen, but it was specified) with garlic. The whole thing was good. The quantities aren't huge but it gets the job done. The atmosphere is quite nice, you have the impression of being in a rather traditional neighborhood restaurant, not too touristy. The service was not exceptional; we waited a very long time before the menu was brought to us (because the menu of the day was already at another table) without being told anything to make us wait. I think the problem was the language barrier so I don't hold it too hard for the final grade. In summary ? Decent food, decent prices. It's not exceptional but it makes the coffee for an "everyday" meal.
