14/09/2025: The granita isn't bad. The price is moderately high, but you can't tell the glass is half empty after the first spoonful. Ridiculous. Go elsewhere.

11/09/2025: Great place. I had the Pesca Granita and it was delicious, so I went for some gelato, and after looking around, I stumbled upon this place where I got Gambero Rosso. It seems like the quality of Italian gelato has stagnated these days, with so many places that are bad and it's so hard to find a good one. This place is truly handmade, and the flavors are exquisite. It's in a thriving area, so how do they make all these flavors? It was delicious! But does that mean it's the best gelato ever? No, it's not.

28/06/2025: A poca distanza dal centro di Verona si trova un locale davvero particolare, capace di regalare un’atmosfera unica, soprattutto agli amanti delle moto. Il posto è curato nei dettagli e trasmette subito un’aria accogliente e vivace. Abbiamo partecipato all’evento “all you can eat” di costine e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti. Il cibo era semplicemente delizioso: oltre alle costine abbiamo preso come contorno patatine fritte e verdure grigliate. Le patatine erano perfette, belle dorate, croccanti e senza alcun retrogusto di olio riutilizzato. Le verdure grigliate, in particolare le zucchine, avevano un retrogusto dolce che le rendeva irresistibili. Ma il vero pezzo forte sono state le costine: morbide, succose, si staccavano dall’osso con una facilità incredibile e si scioglievano in bocca come burro. Da bere abbiamo scelto una birra artigianale, ottima, segno di una selezione di qualità. Il personale è stato davvero molto cordiale e disponibile, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta con un sorriso. A fine pasto abbiamo voluto provare anche un dolce. Peccato per la scelta un po’ limitata: ho preso una cheesecake al mirtillo, ma il sapore era troppo dolciastro per i miei gusti. In ogni caso, esperienza più che positiva, soprattutto per chi cerca buon cibo e un ambiente perfetto per chi ha la passione per le due ruote e un servizio attento e gentile. Sicuramente da consigliare e da ripetere!

23/06/2025: Taking advantage of a 2x1 promo (the cheapest burger was free), we took the opportunity to return to Mr Martini after many (too many) years. In the meantime, the burger joints in the city have multiplied and what was once a simple concept of flattened minced meat, cooked and then served between two slices of bread, has evolved into "Gourmet Hamburger". The use of high-quality meats, refined ingredients and a careful presentation has transformed this simple sandwich into a more satisfying gastronomic experience, capable of combining taste, quality and creativity. The place is furnished in a well-studied industrial style, in which the presence of the fine motorcycles on display helps to create that atmosphere that a rider with a vintage heart can only love and appreciate. The service was efficient and flawless, with a kind and helpful staff that made the evening even more enjoyable. To conclude, everything here seems to embody some words of Nicola Martini (aka Mr Martini) that are quoted in the menu: "the beauty of believing in dreams and the f*cking commitment that is needed to make them come true". So we can only confirm... the experience is really "Special"

27/08/2025: Ah, O Grin! A place that makes you want to travel to the heart of Norway, without even leaving the city! I'm an old Norwegian, here in the South, but the flavor of this place is that of a treasure. The selection of dishes is marvelous, a riot of vegetables and legumes, prepared with such passion that makes you want to shout "Skål!" (cheers!). The ingredients are incredibly fresh, as if I picked them directly from my own farm. The atmosphere? A hug! A welcoming place, with an air of magic, where you can feel the energy of the earth. Perfect for a lunch with friends or a special dinner. A tip? Try their lentil soup; it's a dish that will make you feel like you've come home. And don't forget to try the desserts; they're truly delicious! If you want a place to eat well, with heart and flavor, O Grin is the right place. Thank you for opening your door to me, because I've found a little bit of Norway in my heart!

11/09/2025: A lovely place with a pleasant atmosphere and kind and professional hosts. The catch of the day in fish was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Sea bass coated in cornmeal and ricotta. Wonderful, juicy and melt-in-your-mouth. Everything else is also delicious and special.

03/09/2025: Food is amazing no doubt. Give it a try and the bistecca will be just perfection. The ragú for the parpadelle was delicious. I would go again although the reason for the 3 stars in service is because I noticed something off: by coincidence seems there were some family members of the owner or similar eating by the time we got there and the service and even the quality of the food served to them did not look like the one that was being served to the other clients in the restaurant at that time, for example I saw they got the good salt for the meat while the rest got simple refined supermarket salt. I did not like that, the difference felt obvious and all clients there were paying for the same service and food. Perhaps they should have another room for special guests or similar as that does not give a good impression to clients.

03/09/2025: We ordered a glass of Prosecco, a 1kg T-bone steak, risotto, and water. We didn't get bread before our meal (other Korean families didn't get bread either), but the table next to us did, and they left our T-bone steaks behind. The male owner and two friends who came to visit chatted and drank as much wine as they wanted, but the Prosecco we ordered didn't come out until we finished and had to pay. The bill clearly showed that the Prosecco was 7 euros, so I asked them to deduct it since I didn't eat it. I said okay, tapped the counter, but then tried to add another 7 euros of Prosecco and swiped my card, and I bit back a swear word. When I asked again, they suddenly gave me a thumbs up and said, "Okay!" Then another female server came and recalculated the bill, but she kept pace and tapped me. The alcohol reeked and I felt very uncomfortable. It was a sad evening. Other people's reviews were good, so I hope what I experienced wasn't racism. (If you look at the blog, it says the original service is a mess.)

I loved it. I felt like I'd gone back 15 years... thanks to these typical dishes from our grandmothers, full of flavor and memories ✨ A true delight.

The food, the organization, the location, and the celebration were all fantastic and simply perfect! Thank you! The guests were all happy too and are still talking about how perfect it was! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to this historic venue! Thank you for everything!

25/08/2025: We came to Piana dei Mulini last year to celebrate a birthday. The surrounding landscape is spectacular. The restoration of an old mill... all immersed in well-kept and cared-for greenery. This year we decided to return, but the positive experience of the previous year didn't bode well. Following a problem raised by one of the guests (the birthday boy, to boot), the owner came to the table carrying a plate of freshly rolled and cut tagliatelle, insisting on the quality of the product. I should point out that no one had questioned the quality, commitment, and research they put into this niche product, expertly restored. However, it was simply pointed out that, according to the customer, the pasta had been overcooked. Despite this, the owner continued to boast about the quality of the product without even considering the customer's comments... without realizing that sometimes mistakes can be made, and thus clearly embarrassing him (the birthday boy) in front of a room full of customers.

12/08/2025: Fabulous. The very friendly staff helps you choose. The service was fast and the food excellent. They have homemade desserts and affordable prices for the area. The dishes are hearty and everything is delicious. We were 14 people and we loved it. Highlights include the baked potatoes, the pasta, the tiramisu, etc. We were caught in a heatwave, and air conditioning would have been nice. We'll definitely go back. If you're staying in the area, this is the best option.
