07/07/2025: We stopped today for lunch and I must say that overall we can consider ourselves quite satisfied. Of the three first courses chosen, the troccoli with octopus ragù were remarkable, the spaghetti with clams were excellent, the seafood packets were just below par. A big regret was not having bread at the table, the "scarpetta" would have definitely added something extra to the experience. Too bad. Good desserts Price adequate for the quality of the dishes, three first courses, two desserts, water and a beer 79 euros. Friendly and helpful staff, I'm not giving five stars only for the paccheri, just below the other first courses, and for the lack of bread. The "scarpetta" was a must! Recommended

06/07/2025: We ended up in Laveno for a wedding coming from Rome. Walking around the town in the morning we saw this place and were struck by the modern, simple and clean style... with a touch of homeliness. We booked for dinner. The service was extremely courteous, precise and attentive. We ate two excellent appetizers (eggplant parmigiana and egg with polenta). Then a risotto and the braised meat with polenta. Both were amazing! Excluding the wine (we treated ourselves to a Barolo) the price was between 30/40 euros including a dessert that we split between two. It's a shame to have it 700 km from home... We would definitely have returned.

08/08/2025: The food was a success, the staff was very friendly, always attentive to our needs, making sure we didn't want for anything, and to top it all off, the dessert, tiramisu, was delicious!!! We recommend this restaurant!

30/07/2025: If you're vegan, this isn't for you. Super-top quality meat, super service, they treat you like a king, explaining everything in detail. High prices but appropriate for the quality and setting. Excellent wines, exceptional desserts. Dieting isn't an option here.

08/09/2025: We had lunch here by chance, without knowing it, and I have to say we really enjoyed it. It's a quiet place surrounded by nature. The food was excellent and of good quality. My son, who is celiac, was treated to a real breaded cutlet and French fries, which is not a given! I highly recommend it!

06/09/2025: I honestly don't recommend it: the place is nice, but the prices aren't given, the menu isn't on paper, and the waitress doesn't have to tell you online either, the coffee is served in a paper cup, not a mug, the ice cream is frozen when you order it, and it needs at least 20 minutes to warm up, the food is good, but not up to the price they charge. If four people have to pay €130 for a house menu that's not even complete, then it's better to stay home, where you'll probably eat even better.

13/07/2025: It may seem paradoxical, but you can enjoy splendid seafood dishes even over a hundred kilometers from the sea. I've known this gem of a restaurant for years (located in a small town in the lower Verona area), and each time it surprises me more and more. If you're passing through, I recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed. Oh, I almost forgot... Very competent, kind, and helpful staff in a very elegant and refined setting. Score from one to ten? I'd say eleven!

29/06/2025: Dining at Dolmen is loving yourself... from appetizers to seadas the level is high, but at reasonable prices. The service also deserves 5 stars: kind and attentive. If you want to pamper yourself... stop here sometime!

The service is excellent, as is the friendliness of the staff, in a very welcoming setting. The quality/price ratio is excellent. I recommend it to everyone.

24/08/2025: Excellent, quality food. The service and the staff's expertise are top priority. You can't be unprepared for a question and say, "I don't know." The prices are certainly high, but the quality is worth it. The atmosphere is elegant and romantic.

18/08/2025: In a very busy day they welcomed us with kindness without having a reservation. This is a place you can eat like a true local. The white ragu was incredible and the millefollie the best ever!

16/08/2025: Very good food, slightly above-average prices, and a bit slow service. We ordered gnocchi with tomato and stracciatella (poor), but the wild boar was very, very good.

02/07/2025: When asked "can you send me to a place where you locals go to eat?" I was given this name and I was more than happy to go there. Andrea the manager is the host you would expect, friendly, an excellent cook and available to chat. The food is genuine, plentiful and delicious, the atmosphere is familiar and small and the prices are definitely fair. The menu is simply written on the blackboard. It is a place that we have brought home in our hearts and to which we will definitely return as soon as we are in the area

25/05/2025: We went to dinner with a friend who had booked 2 weeks in advance because the place is small but nice and run by 2 friends! Excellent food, a mention for the first courses (very good) and good price! I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area!

08/07/2025: Highly recommended!! During a guided tour of Leopardi's house, I stopped for a snack with my wife and children, and even though it was already past lunchtime, we were greeted with a smile by a very kind young woman who went out of her way to offer us something to eat. The rest followed suit... a charming location, excellent food, and above all, a carefully curated selection of soft drinks, natural wines, and craft beers. A stop at this place is a must in Recanti!
