L'Ombra della Sera is certainly one of the best restaurants in Volterra and the surrounding area. I have been going there for 13 years and I guarantee you that it is worth it. The cuisine is traditional, with a touch of creativity. The dishes are well executed and presented with care. Truffle lovers, like myself, will find satisfaction with the excellent tagliolini with white or black truffle, the exquisite potato and truffle cream and many other proposals. There is obviously no shortage of mushrooms in season. On my last visit, for example, I enjoyed a remarkable salad of fresh porcini mushrooms. The experience is completed by an attentive welcome without ever being cold and an always honest bill in terms of quality and price. Definitely recommended address.

Main street of Volterra. Cozy place, very romantic and cozy, the side room. Very extensive menu, two seafood spaghetti and two grilled fish, the bottom one being notable. Fair price.

Ate in a pleasant street in the very old Volterra. Very friendly service from owner. Beautiful red wine from Bolgheri. Spaghetti Vongole was a winner.

Piacevole sorpresa al ritorno nella mia città natale. Locale elegante, apparecchiature top, personale gentile. Pappardella cinghiale squisita così come zuppa e tagliata. La zuppa inglese...eccellente!! Prezzi in linea con la qualità del cibo . Bravi!! Lo consiglio senza dubbio.

Dobre tagliatelle, miła obsługa i kameralne wnętrza, może warte odświeżenia. Ogólne wszystko ok, choć jak miałabym coś poradzić to wygląd menu, te pogięte kartki w folii trochę zniechęciły do zamawiania, choć jak się okazało dania były dobre.

En promenade a Volterra, pour le repas du midi nous cherchions une terrasse ombragée. Enfin trouvée avant de nous assoit nous avons regardé le menu à la entrée du restaurant qui se trouve juste en face. L accueil par les différents serveurs à été très cordial et sympathique. Nous voulions mangé léger et frais. Mon époux opte pour tomates mozzarella et moi une bruschetta tomate. Nos deux plats nous ont ravis et ont répondu à notre attente de frais et léger. Un pichet de vin blanc, une bouteille d eau pétillante et deux expressos pour un prix très démocratique. Nous conseillons cette adresse.

Location carina e posizione centro storico. Un po' lunghetta attesa ma vale la pena. Pici al cacio e pepe ottimi. Consiglio. Pasta per celiaci presente.

Excellente cuisine et le service vous laisse prendre votre temps. Emplacement en terrasse très agréable.
