01/06/2025: 77 years of revelry, I have eaten in the best Italian, French and Spanish restaurants (almost always avoided the starred ones). Sure that I can include this restaurant in the best in terms of quality, service, courtesy etc. among all those I have tried in my past, I am writing this review not because of the enthusiasm of the first time, but after several times in which I have been in the countryside of Cuneo. I can only compliment, even on improvised and off-menu dishes, always perfect, with very fresh ingredients and worthy of seconds, impossible to do for the abundant quantities served. Price adequate (low) for the service and quality eaten. Too bad that my age will not allow me to frequent this restaurant for much longer, it deserves it

18/05/2025: Abbiamo avuto l'onore di conoscere questo ottimo ristorante siciliano , accoglienza ottima i titolari cordiali, gentili, atmosfera rilassante,servizio ottimo con il titolare Giovanni che ti accoglie in modo semplice , persona simpatica e molto piacente, che dire del cibo ottimo preparato con cura dalla moglie complimenti,il pesce freschissimo tutti gli ingredienti amalgamati con cura ,gusti delicati ,profumati, che dire scapho,i dolci ottimi dalla cassata, al cannolo siciliano un esplosione di gusto e sapori, arte e poesia per il palato ci torneremo con immenso piacere.. grazie mille

28/08/2025: Ristorante da Meme...we've been there twice, for dinner on Sunday, August 24th and Tuesday, August 26th. All I can say is...everything is fantastic, from Elisa's warmth and kindness, who welcomed us as if she'd known us for a long time, to her consistently excellent and tasty dishes. And what can I say about her gin and tonic specials...a delight for the palate. If I'm ever in the area again, rest assured I'll be sure to stop by for lunch or dinner again. I forgot...her rosemary and pink pepper steak...the best meal I had in 3 days in Siena. Thank you, Elisa and your entire family. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's a shame I can't give it more than 5 stars. Thanks again... Kind regards, Sergio and family.

23/07/2025: We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Fiume in Rome. The staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious! This part of town is lovely and quiet. We would stay here again.

07/09/2025: The place has now become a venue for dinners, events, and birthday parties. Of the good old ice cream shop, all that's left is a small menu and a few seats reserved for when people go out. Too bad for us, but good for them; they certainly made a good choice.

11/08/2025: Excellent ice cream! Various flavors: chocolate, hazelnut, stracciatella, speculoos (lotus), Nutella! For the latter flavor, you can definitely taste that the ice cream is homemade. A real Nutella taste! As for the speculoos, it's not too sickly, and the sprinkled biscuit makes it excellent. I highly recommend it.

04/08/2025: If there were 10 stars, 10 wouldn't be enough! You'll be greeted with a smile here at any time of day – the staff is super friendly, even recognizing you and giving you a warm wave! The quality of the products is consistently top-notch, and the selection leaves nothing to be desired. Simply a must for anyone who appreciates indulgence and genuine service. A true highlight every time – pure joy and highly recommended.

22/08/2025: During our vacation, we visited this nice, quiet restaurant. At first, we were surprised that we even got a table. I've rarely experienced such attentive staff. The food was excellent, fresh, and beautifully presented. We ate here twice in one week, and it's dog-friendly, too. Thank you again!

04/09/2025: Our favorite seafood restaurant! You're spoiled for choice: TOP RAW FISH, delicious hot cold appetizers, mind-blowing first courses, incredible roast and fried dishes! The quality of the seafood is top-notch! The staff and owner complete this experience; you feel at home in a friendly atmosphere. The owner welcomes you and makes you feel at ease in an elegant setting with attention to every detail! Congratulations to this restaurant, in my opinion the number 1 in the entire Chieti-Pescara area!

23/08/2025: We went to this restaurant on a friend's recommendation, and I have to say he was right. We booked a year in advance, because that's the timing... Everything was truly delicious and tasty; we were able to savor the true flavor of every dish served. The price is standard: €45 per person, including all dishes and wine. We opted for an appetizer, first course, and dessert, without a second course, wine, and coffee, and we still spent €45. I highly recommend it, but go on an empty stomach because you'll eat a lot.

24/07/2025: Una certezza sempre! tutto buono e servito bene . Peccato la spazzatura dietro i tavoli all'esterno che non solo rovinano le foto, ma anche emanano cattivo odore soprattutto nelle calde sere d'estate.

18/07/2025: Colloco questa esperienza tra le mie top 3, e ne frequento di ristoranti. Locale di cucina slow food che esalta i suoi piatti sfruttando le erbe raccolte localmente. Ho preso spatzle con ragù bianco dj vitellone ( eccezionali ), un piatto di zucchine condite con erbe e un sughetto saporitissimo. Ho chiuso con una mousse al cioccolato bianco con sopra una granitina di sedano, con sopra altro sedano caramellato. Una vera goduria. Quando finisci un piatto e i sapori rimango nel palato, significa che i piatti sono favolosi.

03/07/2025: Attesa lunghissima. Sinceramente siamo rimasti delusi della cena. Ottima presentazione dei piatti ed anche qualitativamente ma porzioni veramente misere. Molta apparenza ma poca sostanza. Prezzo alto per ciò che viene offerto. Nella zona ci sono molti altri locali che offrono di più in tutti i sensi. Non pensiamo di ritornarci

25/07/2025: Just one place I would ABSOLUTELY recommend if you're traveling to Rome or this part of the city. We went there twice during our three days here, and the first time was such a pleasant surprise, not only for the exceptional value for money, but also for the kindness and wonderful smiles of their staff! The owner took the time to make us laugh and passionately recommend his products, which was very much appreciated. He also offered us desserts and then served us glasses of their house wine filled to the brim! 😅 In short, a restaurant like few others in a city like few others 🤯

24/07/2025: We were originally headed to a different restaurant recommended by our hotel concierge, but as we walked past Il Fiammifero Strano, we struck up a conversation with the owner. Before we knew it, we were seated at a table — and we’re so glad we stayed. As many have mentioned, the owner is a true character, full of entertaining stories about the food, the wine, and his own adventures. His personality added a unique charm to the evening. The appetizers and entrees were all delicious, and although the dessert menu looked fantastic, we were too full to try it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out if you're in the area!
