We had a good time, the food was good and the service was courteous, but there wasn't the variety of "Roman" cuisine I was expecting.

The service was flawless: natural, attentive, and unpretentious. And the food? Simply delicious. What really won us over was the authentically Roman atmosphere—the effortless blend of simplicity and local charm that’s so hard to find. We’d almost given up hope of discovering a place like this. We ordered a platter of wild-caught cured meats and raw lette cheeses, and they were excellent. The roast veal breast with a side of potatoes was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. The roast suckling pig was exceptional, with a crispy crust and a buttery interior. The zabaglione with crumble was the best I've ever had; I'll definitely be back. The only downside was that I had to call and email several times to book a table, but in the end, the lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind, and the waiter in charge was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
Second meal:
We repeated the experience and returned for lunch a few days later. The carbonara was top-notch, and the Marsala zabaglione with crumble was spectacular. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff made you feel like family, and they knew how to do their job with intelligence and dedication. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely waiter, very kind. The food, oh my gosh the food… I’ve been to many restaurants in Rome this was by far my favourite. I had the Veil Brisket, and to start the buffalo mozzarella with tomato’s. Absolutely fantastico! Not too expensive either. The bread was delicious too, had a nice classic wood burning oven taste. If you get a chance definitely stop by, but be ready to be so full you won’t be able to leave haha

The bruschetta was spectacular, especially the stracciatella and the petto di vitello al forno (roasted veal brisket) – the best food I've eaten on this trip to Rome! The service was excellent, and my recommendation: come and try everything! Delicious. Greetings from two Peruvians who were very happy to try this traditional Peruvian food 🇵🇪.

I had the Selezione of meats and cheeses and the Spaghettoni which were both spectacular. One of my highlights was an unassuming yet complex and slightly sweet Fiocco Della Tuscia cheese. This restaurant in the Testaccio region seemed to mostly serve locals yet welcomed me with outstanding service, for which I thank my server Kevin! This was my favorite meal in Rome and recommend emailing them to get a reservation.

Welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of space and no noise. The food is above average. The service is never intrusive and always prompt. Prices are in line with the quality just described.
