Casella 18 In Firenze

Solid place to eat, easy to get to, well-priced with a frequently updated menu. Not a classic trattoria vibe but a genuinely solid more trendy kinda place. Weird vibe though. Idk what it was but there was a weird vibe.

We visited Casella 18 on the recommendation of our Florence tour guide. We were so glad to have found this gem! We specifically went for the Florentine steak, but enjoyed the whole experience immensely. The family run establishment is warm and welcoming... we felt like family by the time we left! We missed taking photos of the remainder of our meal, but everything was excellent. We asked for course recommendations for our family of five, and ordered chianti reserva, along with the Florentine steak and it was all exceptional. We would happily go back if we ever return to Florence!

Very nice and suprisingly authentic place near Duomo. The Pizza(Diavola, Capricciosa) there was great and not too pricey. :)

Despite being so close to the tourist spots, it was authentic, relaxed and the staff were accommodating and attentive. Excellent food and service.

A true gem in Florence! Finally, an authentic restaurant run by true Florentines—a rarity these days. You can immediately feel the soul of the city in the welcome, the atmosphere, and the dishes. The carbonara is incredible, among the best I've ever had! The pizzas are a true delight, soft and flavorful, made according to tradition. You can taste the quality of the local products in every dish. And what about the mortadella di Prato... an extraordinary discovery! An authentic, rare, and unforgettable flavor. A genuine experience, far removed from the typical "tourist trap" spots. A place to treasure and recommend without hesitation!

I ordered the pizza to take away, and they gave me white wine while I waited – really, really great service. The pizza was excellent.

I keep coming back from Tuscany and recommending this delicious restaurant. A 10 out of 10.
