A genuine, authentic Florentine restaurant, not a tourist trap. We had Tuscan crostini, Florentine steak, and cantucci with Vin Santo, all excellent, paired with a delicious Chianti. Highly recommended.

Amazing restaurant in the heart of Florence. Small and very cute but makes you feel as a special guest. The staff were absolutely amazing, nice friendly and very very helpful. And of course the food...we sit for a quick lunch and ordered 2 pizzas and a caprese salad. Everything was delicious! The freshness of the tomatoes and the really good burata cheese were appreciated. Pizzas were definitely worth the try 5* from us and a 5 year old which is hard to impress. Thank you once again for the service!

Restaurant chosen thanks to the Hachette guide "A Great Weekend in Florence" A very pleasant surprise! We had a perfectly decent spritz, then I had the "PACCHERO ALLA CARBONARA," which was to die for! The guanciale was both soft and crispy, absolutely delicious!! My husband had the "TORTELLO MUGELLANO AL RAGU' TOSCANO," also excellent. The owner was very welcoming and our waiter, Nicolas, was very friendly. We had booked an hour in advance and were able to choose the best table by the French doors, as if we were dining outdoors. We followed with a very generous homemade tiramisu, all washed down with a good Italian red wine. To finish, we had coffee, and the restaurant very kindly offered us a limancello. Everything was perfect, and we highly recommend this establishment, which, unlike some others, shows consideration even for tourists.

Casella 18 was recommended by our Airbnb. We booked a table for a birthday dinner, and it truly did not disappoint. The food was incredible and was some of the best we have eaten in Florence.
