Excellent pastries, pleasant service. We went for breakfast to go, there were always quite a few people there, so there was no opportunity to sit, but that didn't bother us, we were only a few steps away. We would love to come back again ❤️

It was one of the best cafes I discovered during my stay in Rome. I tried the coffee, the sandwich, the salad, and several pastries, and everything was delicious. It's also close to the Colosseum, and I thought it offered excellent value for money in the area. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, perfect for sitting and enjoying a coffee at your leisure. And the service was always very attentive. Without a doubt, a cafe I would recommend and would return to on my next visit to Rome.

Anyone in the area MUST stop by Cafe Antica! Two cappuccinos and two croissants for €6.20! Absolutely delicious and authentic 😎 Everyone is super friendly and in a great mood. Highly recommended!!

I can see why this caffè is highly rated! Had a cappuccino and a cornetto for €3.50. Both were delicious! Cappuccino’s milk to coffee ratio was on point, and the cornetto was super fresh. Definitely recommend if you’re in the Colosseum area and don’t want to go to a tourist trap. Edit: returned the next day and although I didn’t have a fancy heart on my cappuccino, everything was perfect 👌🏼

The coffee and beer are very good! Communication with the staff in English was a bit difficult. Despite the air conditioning, the place was quite warm.

The few casual eateries near the Colosseum that don't rip off tourists have delicious sandwiches—some of the best I've had in Europe so far.

03/07/2026: An unforgettable evening in the heart of Rome. Everything, from the quality of the meat served on clean white plates to the meticulously presented desserts, was impeccable. The dessert I ordered was decorated with extreme care: a slice of fresh strawberry, two segments of dried orange, and a fragrant cinnamon stick. It's rare to find such attention to detail in such a centrally located restaurant. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu.
