04/08/2025: Artichokes and tripe are highly recommended!

01/08/2025: Felt like we were in Nona's. Very small restaurant but the food and service spoke very loudly in a positive way. Service felt very homey and comforting and everyone who helped us were in a good mood. We started with the mozzarella and prosciutto which was simple but delicious. Main course we had the mushroom risotto and the Amatriciana, both felt like home cooked meals. Would 100% come back when in Rome again.

08/07/2025: I have been a loyal customer for over ten years and the quality of this Roman trattoria has always been impeccable. It is a point of reference for authentic Roman cuisine, maintaining a very high standard over time. The fried foods are perfection: crispy, light and never greasy. In particular, the supplì, including the nduja and cacio e pepe ones, are exceptional. The typical Roman dishes in particular are prepared with mastery and the best possible quality of ingredients. I have never had a single disappointment. This place offers an authentic and high-level Roman culinary experience. If you are looking for the true essence of Roman cuisine, with a quality that stands the test of time, this is the right place. As if that were not enough, the place also offers a wide selection of Pizzas and Desserts!

19/07/2025: A small, traditional osteria with extremely friendly staff and excellent food. The interior of the restaurant/bar is very quaint and charming. Other tables outside are perhaps a little too rustic, but it's worth it. A must-try, with reservations required. I recommend the delicate truffle burrata, the phenomenal tagliata with Taggiasca olives, and the custard biscuits. Congratulations!

04/08/2025: We searched for the best pizza in the area and we weren't disappointed. They have a huge selection of pizzas by the slice, which are truly delicious. I was captivated by the spicy one, but the one with mushrooms had a unique flavor. I recommend it because you can tell from the counter that this place is popular. The service is exceptionally friendly, the owner is the life of the party, and he seems to have a burning passion for those in need.

30/07/2025: We happen to see this place and they offer some gluten free items. The owner is so sweet and the food is great comfort food!

13/08/2025: I have been recommending the Winkelkeller for a long time. I saw the wild and romantic garden as I was driving past. I'm told the food is excellent. It looks the same in these great photos, too, the ladder cart with the flowers on the other side as an advertising service... the natural vegetable garden, I assume, not far from the kitchen. See you soon, I'm coming for dinner. Today I took guests who asked me in the town centre where there was something to eat to your place. The garden was very full, but they went in. I also stopped by briefly to see if it's really that nice at your place. Yes, Holladero, it's a lovely place, including you, you're really a lovely bunch. Now I know that it was worth advertising for you for so many years. I'm really looking forward to eating at your place myself; I was in a bit of a hurry today. Bye, in the meantime.

10/07/2025: Ventuno Sei is a truly welcoming café, with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's excellent for breakfast, with a good selection of fresh pastries. The place is well-maintained, clean, and tastefully decorated, conveying a wonderful sense of order and attention to detail.

17/08/2025: Terrible service and rudeness. I ordered two pizzas for delivery at 8:30 PM. They arrived around 9:40 PM. I called at 9:00 PM to politely ask how they were doing, and a lady told me they were on their way out. It's a shame I didn't even get an apology; that would have been enough. At 9:30 PM, since the pizzas hadn't arrived yet, I called back to ask for an explanation, and an annoyed gentleman replied, "They're on their way out, goodbye," and hung up on me while I was still talking. I would have told him all this personally, avoiding a negative review, but since it wasn't in his interest, I'm writing it here. A bad evening, with a lot of confusion, can happen, but if you apologize to the person who's leaving you money, as far as I'm concerned, the matter ends there. That wasn't the case. As for the pizzas, the toppings are good and well-matched, but they arrived lukewarm and a bit shattered. I found the dough to be thick and too heavy for my taste.

18/08/2025: Excellent location next to the colosseum, very nice and friendly staff. I called to make a reservation and did it through an automated message, eventually I managed to get one at 10pm but they let us in at 9:40pm since we were done with pics from the colosseum and got there earlier. The food was alright. It was the first pizza I ever tried in Italy. Was a little too crusty for me but I really enjoyed it. In my opinion the carbonara needed more parmesan to make the taste stronger. Overall pretty good restaurant, I'd recommend.

18/08/2025: Went for early dinner. Sebastian ravioli, salmon and espresso was good. Staff not as attentive but ok.

20/07/2025: Simply excellent pizza, magnificent dough at a very fair price. The location is what it is, but if you're looking for the real deal, go ahead. P.S. Ask for La Pisana even if it's not on the menu! 😁

28/06/2025: The staff was kind and welcoming, thanking us for buying almost 2kg of ice cream to offer to colleagues in the office. That said, the passing grade is stretched: exaggerated prices for an ice cream whose quality is anything but exaggerated. The flavor is appreciable, but it has nothing to do with some (few) excellent ice creams that I have tasted in Milan. And then ... if a customer buys almost 2 kg of ice cream at €30 per kg, you can't make him pay 11 empty cups €4 that he kindly asked for. I will not return.

10/08/2025: We dined at the tables along the alleyway of the restaurant, a truly lovely place. We arrived very late, but even though the kitchen was about to close, they warmly welcomed us in. The food was simple, home-made, and very good. We had a plate of grandma's meatballs, some typical local sausages, a plate of potatoes, and a plate of really good vegetables. We drank two glasses of red wine and a bottle of sparkling water and paid €54. Recommended place for a simple but tasty dinner.
