This restaurant is a must if you are traveling to Firenze!
They have a wonderful decor, heritage building and the dishes are succulent.
You will find various traditional dishes and their primi are to die for.
Especially the poached egg and the carpaccio.
The Angus is very well cooked and they have great sides.
Their crème brûlée was the best I have ever had in Italy.
The atmosphere is pleasant and great for a friendly dinner.
I highly recommend Cucina Torcicoda.

The meat was delicious, perfectly cooked and of excellent quality. The "Frolla" dessert was also truly exquisite, one of the best I've tasted in Florence. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service friendly, and the restaurant is highly recommended. I'll definitely be back!

Cucina Torcicoda – Excellent pizza, light dough, and truly meticulously prepared ingredients
I've been to Cucina Torcicoda and had a truly positive experience, especially for the quality of the pizzas.
We had three pizzas: Margherita, Torcicoda, and Tuna and Bottarga. All three were delicious, but above all, they all had one key thing in common: a light, well-made dough, easy to digest, and enjoyable until the last bite. It's not one of those pizzas that weighs you down or becomes tiresome after a while. Here, the crust complements the ingredients well and enhances them.
The Margherita impressed me with the quality of the simplest elements: excellent tomato, truly good mozzarella, perfect overall balance. When a Margherita is well-made, you can taste it right away. And here, you can taste it.
The Torcicoda was very tasty, rich yet well-balanced, with bold flavors without being overbearing. I also really liked the Tuna and Bottarga: flavorful, unique, with that elegant, marine note that sets it apart from the usual pizza.
The dessert also deserves a mention: a tart with salty pastry, truly delicious. A simple yet refined finish, with a lovely contrast between sweetness and saltiness.
The service was friendly and pleasant, with a welcoming atmosphere and no unnecessary formality. You'll feel comfortable, eat well, and leave satisfied.
In short: top-notch pizza, quality ingredients, a light dough, and friendly service.
Recommended.
It cost about €30 per person with beer, coffee, and grappa.

Met numerous sommelier and found my favourite in Fierenze - Chio (might not be the right spelling, and if you see this, apologies for the mistake, leave your name here 🤎🙏)
Was a walk-in with my partner and we had one of the most amazing service in our trip, from Milano, Paris, Zurich..etx to here.
Our sommelier know EXACTLY what a wine drinker needs, on top of what he choose for us, he even knows what’s the best time to serve the wine..
cute story! while we waiting for the food and taking a smoke break outside, he actually follow us out with a glass and the wine to make sure we have something to drink while we are smoking. (Pretty sure he smoke or not he just understand the process too well!)
Conclude_service was just too warm from EVERYONE in this restaurant, specifically from our dear sommelier. Food was 70% perfect, would definitely recommend and we will come back.

We had a fantastic evening here. Tye staff weee excellent, the food was really tasty and the setting was very pleasant. Their portions are not huge, but certainly adequate. All of our dishes were spot on and I tasted flavors I’ve never had before. The egg was a pleasant surprise I have to say. So delighted we came here.
