My compliments! The line at the entrance is frequent, but that only confirms the quality this gelato shop offers.

04/10/2025: Nestled in a charming corner of Piano Battaglia, this restaurant is a real surprise. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is perfect after a walk in the woods. The traditional and authentic dishes reflect the flavors of the mountains: fresh mushrooms, local cheeses, and delicious meats. A place you'll want to return just to savor those authentic flavors again. Highly recommended!

They waited for us even though we arrived after check-in time and were very prompt in answering and clarifying questions on whatsapp. Super nice, modern rooms, incredibly good breakfast! Lucky for us that it starts at 07:00 and we were able to leave on our way further. Overall, an experience that I will repeat!

18/10/2025: A small but very cute place. The coffee is good. The custard-filled cannolini are delicious, filled on the spot. The rack where they hold the cannolini one by one, warm, before filling them, is quite unique. A must-try.

25/09/2025: It's good, but for Italian ice cream, it's not up to scratch. The straciatella is bland. The peanut-banana ice cream has a lackluster texture, and it's not just the peanut powder in it; the problem is the ice crystals, as if the freezing wasn't even, as if the gelato hadn't been stirred well during freezing. (I should add: regardless of the method that led to this result, the texture is unpleasant, and you can't really taste the flavor. It's not up to par with other Italian gelato shops.) The pistachio ice cream is good, but it's made with pistachio cream, so it's a bit too sweet. It's creamy, not bad, but not 100%.

20/10/2025: This is already the second trip I've booked with Jambo Tour, last year to Iceland and this year to Kenya, and what can I say? We had a fantastic time! These places will stay in our hearts, and above all, the organization of both trips was top-notch, even in terms of choosing the places to stay. We'll definitely be taking more trips! 🥰

My Fiance's family recommended we go here when visiting Rome & we ended up going two nights in a row. The food is to die for and the atmosphere is 10/10. Great house wine, too!
