The food was absolutely amazing, everything was homemade, well fresh and nicely cooked. We really really loved the food, I think it was one of the best places to experience the italian food. Service was nice, the staff was nice and very welcoming. Even the atmosphere, it was a cute cozy restaurant.

All very good even if instead of the baked pig it is a baked pork loin but still very good

While visiting the beautiful village of Petralia Soprana, my wife and I chose to have lunch in this restaurant. Being Monday, fortunately we found a table available 30 minutes before arriving. Salvatore and his daughter welcomed us and illustrated the menu items. We chose to take the typical appetizer for two. What to say: many different flavors and all very good, starting from the ricotta pancakes, the spiced potatoes and the dish with different varieties of mushrooms, to complete with the large platter which includes a vast variety of different flavors. The pasta with fennel is also very good, in this case prepared with the mushroom variant rather than the Palermo version with sardines. The desserts are also very good. Overall, we also watched the different courses arriving at neighboring tables; I can only comment that they inspired everyone. I recommend booking this restaurant to anyone who wants to take a trip out of town.

The place was pleasantly welcoming, the food was of high quality, Mr. Salvatore was very helpful and advised us on choosing the courses. We will definitely be back.

Don’t follow your gps right to the restaurant, your car might not fit on the street. Park in the main square about 100 yards/ meters away. Four of us had lunch here. It was fantastic. The service, food and prices were all outstanding. Definitely worth the drive if you are in Sicily and near Petralia Soprano. The attached pictures say it all.

entrati per caso, ambiente da vera trattoria. ma il cibo: veramente ottimo ed abbondante. prezzi più che onesti. cibi VERAMENTE del territorio, Dovendo proseguire poi nel tour, ci sentivamo quasi di doverci scusare per non approfondire ulteriormente il menù. Alla fine abbiamo scorto la lumachina di Slowfood. Più che meritata
