A small restaurant just steps from Piazza Navona. I enjoyed the excellent food and an interesting, yet discreet, wine list. The informal service was pleasant; perhaps the tables are a little too close together, though, thanks to the time of day, it was a pleasant place to be. We'll definitely be back.

A very good Italian restaurant. At a reasonable price. But the food is truly excellent. And a nice bonus: you can choose your dish frozen or fresh. Which, along with mushrooms, makes all the difference. Admittedly, it's more expensive. Thank you for this discovery...

Wonderful authentic little restaurant in centro. Lorenzo was a fabulous host and server. He gave us lots of attention and I enjoyed chatting with him in Italian and English. The specials and the wine were lovely. I especially loved the porcini mushroom antipasto, the salumi and formaggio platter, and of course the pasta was wonderful too. My favourite was the ox tail pasta. I love a good tomato based sauce. But the house special white sauce with a bit of spice, pecorino and caramelised mini yellow tomatoes and guanciale was excellent as well. I also loved the zucchini blossoms stuffed with cheese and anchovies. And of course their selection of wine is excellent, including local lazian varieties. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

For being in a tourist area the food was properly local and well prepared. It’s a small restaurant with exceptionally friendly staff and good recommendations. The local Lazio wines were well priced. The porcini mushrooms were excellent (sorry no picture) and the pasta was very good and fresh. We had both the house special (a spicy variety of cacio e Pepe) and fettuccine with oxtail. Both were really good. Lorenzo’s recommendations were all very good choices. We would definitely come back.

It had been a long time since I had been treated with such kindness and joy.

This was our last and best meal in Rome. The food and service were outstanding. We had a very early flight home the next morning and even though we came a bit early, everyone was welcoming and gracious. Fantastic wine, beer, and pasta. It felt like eating at a family restaurant and was the perfect send off at the end an amazing trip. Highly recommend, will be back the next time we are in Rome!

Good food and very friendly staff.

This was our dinner for our second night in Italy. Everyone raves about Roman food. At all the other meals, I thought “This is really tasty, but not mind blowing.” At Quelli de’ Coronari, as soon as I took a bite of the Oxtail I said “This is it. I get it!” Oxtail was incredible. The porcini mushrooms were the best mushrooms I’ve ever had. Crisp, savory, perfectly salted. The burrata and ham starter was perfect. The house red is an amazing bargain. I will dream of this meal for years.
