04/06/2025: A very pretty tavern at the entrance to Alba. Decorated with great taste and detail. The dishes (ravioli and gnocchi) were perfect: cooked, flavorful, and sauce-packed. Dessert was also very good: terracotta with blueberry sauce. Discreet, efficient, and friendly service. I recommend the Ostenero tavern.

16/07/2025: The mountain-style atmosphere is beautiful and refined. The staff, though very young, is well-trained, attentive, and very friendly. You feel welcomed and pampered. Excellent and beautifully presented food, with more than adequate portions. The dessert menu is superb! The price is more than fair. Keep it up, guys!

30/06/2025: On the steps of Villa Garibaldi in Conversano you can appreciate this place that will fascinate you with its proposal. From the outside the location is already very fascinating in itself, apart from the gazebo, the tables are placed directly on the flight of stairs, illuminated with lights that create a very personalized charm to the environment, with this construction stone, at the top of the puffs / sofas that seem to suggest relaxation. The real surprise however is the interior, an almost labyrinth with multiple rooms and multiple floors, with a slightly bohemian and a little steampunk air ... to visit. The menu offers many solutions even if the real workhorse is certainly the proposal of fritters filled with various assortments of fillings. Piadinas with homemade dough truly delicious and pizza without infamy and without praise. Excellent meatballs to nibble as an appetizer and very tasty caciocavallo in tempura. Equally interesting is the beverage proposal for which the draft beers are particularly noteworthy, IPA Goose Island fully reflects its aroma, valid wine proposal. The staff is very helpful and punctual, considering some distractions of the younger and inexperienced, the service is up to par. If they proposed to me to return I would already be there. Recommended as Experience, location, food and drinks, service all top level.

24/06/2025: The environment is apparently simple and familiar but in reality elegant and refined (without causing awe). Pleasant welcome as well as the atmosphere and the veranda where we sat. Attentive, polite, efficient and always kind service. Well-presented food that evidently uses quality raw materials and is prepared in the kitchen with taste and experience. The bill is the result of the above addends, substantially correct. Difficult to find a place if not after a long reservation, but it is certainly a place where I will return very willingly.

14/06/2025: A very appealing menu with typical regional dishes. Extremely friendly and attentive staff make you feel welcome and appreciated. The historic building is in excellent condition overall. There are many exhibits, some dating back to the Imperial and Royal era, as well as regional everyday objects and a beautiful traditional costume, which can also be seen in a video at the Scissor Grinder Museum in Stolvizza.

19/07/2025: We had a tasting menu with six courses and three glasses of wine pairings. It was a lovely discovery with flavors that were "unusual" from the norm, but that's exactly what you look for in a restaurant like this. The prices were in line with what we ate. Of course, it was expensive, but that's fair enough. A great discovery and an excellent restaurant, recommended if you want to save money and eat well.

29/06/2025: I can't give more. Perfect family lunch thanks not only to the food, but also to the quality service. We recommend the octopus and especially the pappardelle with black truffle. Fantastic! Extensive wine list.

29/06/2025: We were told that it is a historic place in Verona, in fact they serve the typical boiled meat (even in summer). Inside there are many foreigners and very few Italians, Versace-branded dishes and a “chic” atmosphere…..very very “chic”. Starters: 1 Grilled octopus tentacle on a cream of cannellini beans with chives and olive oil: soft octopus and little flavor from the cannellini beans. 2 fried baby squid: good taste even if the breading came off the fish completely. First courses: 1 Fettuccine with white veal ragù and smoked ricotta: I asked if the ricotta was salty and they said no. Unfortunately, as I imagined, the dish was salty (not tasty)… really salty. The result was a night stuck to the bottle of water. 1 spaghetti (or linguine I don't remember) with lobster: unfortunately the dish had an aftertaste of butter. Not much lobster, very 80s to serve it with half of its shell on the plate. In conclusion: we had a good time, treated very well by the staff even if, in my opinion, they need to be a little more prepared on the dishes. Last thing: they told us after dinner that the owner of Torcolo posts a lot on social media, we had gotten a feeling from the photos with various V.I.P.s at the entrance to the place. We recognized who he was only from the fact that he was in the room with us, with a cell phone and smartwatch, sitting on a chair for the entire duration of our dinner. We believe that a chef should stay in the kitchen, leave at the end of the service but I realize that the turnover of tables and people is so high that it is not feasible. We were sorry that we were not asked, during the payment phase, how the evening had gone. Average bill with what was eaten. Place for tourists.

25/07/2025: €5 for a well-done pizza, which, firstly, has never been served well-done, and secondly, the waiter never told us that well-done pizza (which is often ordered in Naples) has an additional €5 for obvious reasons of extra wood consumption. 😂 Absurd. Obviously, there's an endless wait despite empty tables, since the pizza chef stops service when he gets more than five pizzas in 10 minutes. The location is what it is. Don't go there.

24/07/2025: Pizzeria che rispecchia fedelmente la tradizione napoletana. Impasto ottimo, ingredienti di eccellente qualità. Fuori dal caos delle tipiche stradine turistiche, a poca distanza dalla stazione centrale consiglio vivamente a tutti di andare ad assaggiare le pizze che sono preparate con grande maestria. Servizio molto cortese e garbato. I due pizzaioli che le fa e chi le inforna un tandem perfetto! Unico neo, la signora alla cassa dovrebbe sorridere un po' di più, ha un' aria molto seriosa. Il sorriso allunga la vita😁

08/07/2025: Siamo stati a cena con mia moglie la sera dell' 8 luglio, e siamo stati molto bene. Location storica, arredata con stile e gusto. Accoglienza discreta e professionale. Un piccolo entree delicato e gustoso. Abbiamo scelto per un antipasto condiviso, una ottima tavolozza di salumi con la giardiniera fatta in casa. Poi io ho preso un branzino delle Canarie cotto su tavolozza di sale, con una particolare e deliziosa maionese senza uovo. Mia moglie ha scelto per la grigliata, filetto di fassona con patate. Piatti curati, qualità davvero elevata, il servizio in sala eccellente ed empatico. Abbiamo ricevuto preziosi suggerimenti in particolare per i dessert. Per questi ultimi, che dire il Negroni Sbagliatissimo (analcolico) è sublime ed è difficile da descrivere, occorre provarlo gustando col cucchiaino puntato fino al fondo e poi appunto dal basso verso l'alto. Mia moglie ha preso uno strudel particolare, realizzato anche con ananas e cocco; delicato, leggero, buono. Ringraziamo Villa Campari, Chef e tutto lo Staff, per la bella serata e gli attimi di gusto e serenità. Il servizio in sala: grande attenzione all'ospite, complimenti . Ritorneremo. 21/06/2025: Siamo tornati per la seconda volta a Villa Campari per festeggiare una ricorrenza speciale in coppia, e ancora una volta è stata un’esperienza molto piacevole. La location è davvero suggestiva, soprattutto in estate: cenare all’aperto, nel giardino della villa storica, con le luci soffuse e il cielo che si colora al tramonto, ha creato l’atmosfera perfetta per una serata romantica. Un’oasi elegante e curata, immersa nel verde, pur trovandosi a pochi passi da Milano. Abbiamo scelto un menù fisso a base di pesce, che ci ha pienamente soddisfatto sia per qualità che per presentazione dei piatti. Prima di iniziare la cena, ci è stata offerta la possibilità di prendere un aperitivo: abbiamo optato per un Aperol classico e un Aperol Campari, serviti con attenzione e gusto. Molto apprezzata anche la disponibilità del personale nel permetterci di cambiare il dessert previsto dal menù fisso, dimostrando attenzione verso le preferenze del cliente. Il servizio è stato cortese, discreto e professionale per tutta la durata della serata. Consigliamo sicuramente Villa Campari, sia per una cena romantica che per occasioni speciali: è un posto che unisce charme storico, buona cucina e accoglienza di livello. E noi torneremo sicuramente ancora!

09/06/2025: What can I say, every time I'm in Assisi it's a regular event. Nice place with very kind and fast employees. Good selection of beers and wines, good food but the first prize goes to the cured meats. Spectacular! I highly recommend the culatta, with a sweetish flavor with hints of walnut. Irresistible, I can't wait to try it again.
