27/11/2025: From the way it's presented, I would have expected a little more. Let's start with the outside: it's a small, average-sized restaurant, and when I went, you couldn't even see it because it was hidden by external scaffolding. The food is good, but nothing spectacular you'd expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The prices are high, despite it being a Michelin-starred establishment.

21/11/2025: Today, thanks to our daughter, who gave us a culinary journey at the President restaurant in Pompeii, we had a wonderful experience. We were welcomed by Mrs. Laila with kindness and grace, who accompanied us throughout the lunch, introducing us to each dish prepared by the chef. Living proof that Chef Paolo Gramaglia's Michelin star isn't a whim, but a guarantee. The cuisine combines impeccable technique and profound local flavors, with dishes that express Campania without ever falling into the predictable. Attentive service, an elegant dining room, and a gastronomic journey that flows like a well-written story. An experience worth the trip—and one that will remain fondly remembered. Thanks to Chef Paolo and his wife for this wonderful experience.

02/12/2025: We had a truly wonderful meal! The Florentine steak was exceptional: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The side dishes—potatoes, beans, and fricchio—were also excellent, all prepared with great care. The owner is a quintessential Tuscan, friendly, and spontaneous, like someone straight out of a Pieraccioni film: with a crack of jokes and a quip, he made us feel right at home. It was a wonderful experience, we'll definitely be back!

10/11/2025: A small but very welcoming, family-run restaurant located outside the city walls and near Lucca train station. The food is excellent, especially the wide selection of local red meats. The steaks and beef tagliata are a guarantee. Exceptional!

23/09/2025: We loved our experience so much that we went back a second time. Niccolo's service was excellent; he speaks at least three languages: French, English, and of course, Italian. He knows the menu very well and is always able to advise us on this or that dish. Thank you very much for your welcome and hospitality.

02/12/2025: We had dinner at IGIO one evening. The restaurant is well-maintained, with small details that reveal the passion and desire to share Korean culture. The menu helps you choose the dishes, with a thorough and entertaining explanation. The dishes are excellent, the bulgogi is truly exquisite. The bill was in line with current market prices. Overall, a good experience. Definitely recommended, and we'll definitely be back.

04/12/2025: Koreans, come here! The Spaghetti Carrettie was a little spicy, but perfectly suited my taste. The steak was delicious, and the staff were friendly. This was the most delicious dinner I had in Italy. (You can also get a 30% discount if you book in advance at The Pork.)

04/11/2025: A beautifully situated restaurant in a stunning landscape. The architecture and interior design are simply gorgeous. The food is fantastic and the prices are perfectly reasonable. If you're visiting the area, you should definitely stop by. I highly recommend it.

09/11/2025: I went there for lunch on the recommendation of friends "to eat well-cooked porcini mushrooms." I've never had such PERFECT porcini mushrooms. Everything was excellent. Both the food and the wine (recommended by the guy who looked after us throughout the meal). The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable, respectful of our lunch times, and never intrusive. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes I'd glimpsed from neighbors' plates (everything looked delicious). The location was also very beautiful: clean, bright, and overlooking the courtyard with olive trees and antique troughs housing beautiful and well-kept succulents. Everything was very peaceful. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

05/11/2025: We had lunch featuring fresh porcini mushrooms. The quality and freshness of the mushrooms were outstanding. From the "simple" porcini carpaccio to more elaborate dishes like porcini mushrooms covered in kataifi. The waiter was extremely attentive to our needs and precise in his suggestions. An excellent location for a tasty, high-quality meal.

05/10/2025: We returned to this trattoria for the second time. The first time we came almost on purpose (we're from Ancona), this time we were returning from a trip to southern Italy. A place from another era, where the food is still at the heart of the experience, authentic and not "pretty"—a place you return for the quality of a simple product, the arrosticini, expertly prepared and accompanied by side dishes and extra virgin olive oil from the owners' garden. And the welcome is genuine, homely. It feels like being welcomed into a friend's home. I recommend all lovers of arrosticini and Abruzzo products to dine here at least once: you'll be delighted. And probably, as we certainly will despite the distance, you'll return.

11/10/2025: I've been coming to Catania for work for five years, and Taverna del Grande Albero is a regular stop. First of all, I find quality and courtesy here, but above all, I feel like I'm at home. The owners have become like family to me. I GO TO FILIPPO'S, I say every time!!!! Always friendly, always hospitable, they never fail to chat with the customers, and I highly recommend it!! I've attached photos so you can fully understand my satisfaction. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of the spectacular seafood appetizer!
