We returned to this trattoria for the second time. The first time we came almost on purpose (we're from Ancona), this time we were returning from a trip to southern Italy. A place from another era, where the food is still at the heart of the experience, authentic and not "pretty"—a place you return for the quality of a simple product, the arrosticini, expertly prepared and accompanied by side dishes and extra virgin olive oil from the owners' garden. And the welcome is genuine, homely. It feels like being welcomed into a friend's home. I recommend all lovers of arrosticini and Abruzzo products to dine here at least once: you'll be delighted. And probably, as we certainly will despite the distance, you'll return.
