14/06/2025: This place is perfect!! Ambiance, hidden in a very charming “street” that cars don’t pass. Very intimate. The owner is a very nice guy, he makes sure you are happy and comfortable. The food is paradise! We ordered “Pici Bina con Salcicca..”, the zucchini salad and the amazing tiramisu, everything was 11 out of 10! Thanks for such a special lunch!

07/05/2025: Typical sycilian bar in a small town with a really nice climate. But the real star were the huge cannoli with absolutely the best filling I have ever tried it’s a must try!

13/04/2025: We had breakfast at Bar Erice during a visit to Trapani. The place is simple and welcoming, with a good assortment of desserts. We ordered the cannoli, which were filled on the spot. The cream was fresh and well balanced, the wafer crunchy. The size seemed right to us, neither too large nor too small, ideal for breakfast. The service was quick and courteous. We liked finding a place where we could start the day with a carefully prepared traditional product. It was a pleasant stop that we would recommend to anyone passing through these parts.

09/07/2025: Dinner at the Riesling restaurant was disappointing, to say the least. Arriving at 8:30 PM with a reservation and high expectations, fueled by friends and positive reviews, I was completely ignored at the entrance, despite the constant coming and going of three waiters. Only after five minutes (with the place half empty) did they notice my presence at the door and, without so much as a hello, showed me to a seat with a cold "Have they already spoken to you?" before cursorily pointing to the table, without being escorted by anyone. I was seated at an inside table, with the air conditioning blasting in my face and without being asked whether I preferred to sit inside or outside. After just two minutes, I couldn't resist and asked to move outside. The small outdoor area, however, wasn't any better: in the height of summer, there was no sign of mosquito coils or other remedies against the mosquitoes that infested the place. I had to ask the waiter, and immediately afterward, the other customers, suffering from the same problem, did the same. The outside glasses were dirty, with flies inside. This can happen, and I kindly ask them to be changed. After ordering, a waitress brings the wine but, likely due to inexperience, takes over a minute just to open the bottle (and badly at that). When she pours it for tasting, the amount is so small I can't even see it. Dinner finally begins: I order a shrimp tartare, the most expensive on the menu (€22), which is served in less than thirty seconds. It's clearly frozen and prepared hours in advance, with a flavor that tends to be nothing more than shrimp. Along with the dish, the same waitress brings a cruet of oil, which is first taken from another table, then "stolen" from ours, and then ends up elsewhere, without any permission from the staff. The first courses are average, not quite up to the price but certainly better than the appetizer. We finished with a fried fish dish: frozen, with a pale, soft coating that peeled off the fish on its own. To finish, two desserts and a coffee, for a total of €135. A restaurant price that, at least in our expectations, shouldn't have had all these problems... The point of the review and the negative comments isn't so much the high bill or individual flaws, but the fact that we're in a restaurant that offers a pretentious menu (chef's raw fish and Catalan dishes for €45 per person), with high prices and a "chic" attitude, yet in terms of food and service, falls far short of even a simple "fraschetta." Perhaps it would be helpful to understand what type of restaurant you're offering and, accordingly, adapt the kitchen and staff. Too bad. PS: This review is written by someone who has worked in the restaurant business for over two years and is well versed in the rules, dynamics, and customs of the profession. My words should therefore not be taken as the opinion of a snobbish and presumptuous angry customer, but as an informed and reasoned judgment from which I hope we can draw improvement.

29/06/2025: We are at the restaurant and it was amazing, buonissimo. Everyone was very friendly, spoke many languages, made good recommendations, and explained all the food to us, etc but the cous cous was incredible. The best. So flavorful. We had the Royal cous cous and the fish cous cous. Unbelievable. Highly recommend eating here if you're anywhere near San Vito.

17/06/2025: This evening the hotel where I'm staying recommended this restaurant to me, guys, I can only tell you that it's a culinary experience between Sicilian and Tunisian food, it's something perfect. We had octopus with potato hummus as an appetizer, absolutely divine with a melting consistency like lindor, even my one and a half year old daughter liked it a lot, in addition we had a Tunisian brik, fried wafer with capers, tuna, cheese, potatoes and egg, the obligatory mopping up of the bread, then fish couscous, I took the complete one with vegetables, then served with fish broth, on the side, a mix of flavors never tasted before, and to finish the dessert we had a Tunisian brik, out of this world cassata without orange icing and Anna's mother's cassata.... Guys, highly recommended if you don't want to go to a typical restaurant but have a taste experience

28/06/2025: Very nice place, kind and pleasant service, beautiful table setting, strong point also the lake view outside on the terrace. The food however is not up to par, pasta with clams tasteless and soupy on the bottom. The tentacle with nduja and mashed potatoes is a very good pairing, but it must be left whole and grilled, because in slices it seems to have come out of a defrosted vacuum. Very limited choice of wines by the glass (one if not 2 choices after request) There is potential but the preparations need to be reviewed and corrected

12/07/2025: Cozy and intimate pasta spot with just a few tables outside on the street, giving it a really charming, relaxed vibe. The staff was genuinely friendly and didn’t push drinks before we had even decided on food, which was a big plus. The pasta? Simply awesome. Bursting with flavor, every bite felt like a mini explosion of taste. A hidden gem.

27/04/2025: Soft light, tastefully furnished environment. The choice of dishes is vast (some even off the menu) and the quality of the food is good: the house fried rice, the brown rice sautéed with daikon, pine nuts and vegetables, the sweet and sour fried chicken, the spicy prawns with onions and the spicy calamari with vegetables, mushrooms and ginger are particularly appreciated; dessert includes cream ice cream with ginger caramel. The service was impeccable, quick and efficient. Some waiters proved to be particularly empathetic towards customers. Ultimately this is the top of the Chinese restaurants in Genoa.
