A place I've known for many years. A true Florentine restaurant where I ate a truly excellent Florentine steak. This comes from an elderly Florentine who's tried many steaks, both in Florence and the surrounding area. Their secret: they only use female animals.

We had a wonderful time at Trattoria Alfredo. Everything was delicious, from the food to the inviting atmosphere. But the best part was the service: Marcos made us feel truly welcome, always attentive, kind, and with a warmth that made all the difference, despite the language barrier. 14/04/2026: We ate here twice on our trip to Florence and had such an incredible time. The owner and staff were so kind and the food was amazing. It felt like a true Tuscan dining experience and we felt very welcomed. We look forward to coming back in the future!
