We were guests only at the restaurant, not the hotel. I'm mentioning this for the sake of clarity.
The restaurant isn't just open to the public; it welcomes everyone who walks in with open arms, warmly and cordially. The service is informal but very attentive.
Upon entry, it looks like a simple village bar, but once you step through the door, you enter a refined setting, and above all, a breathtaking view of the valley, which on clear days offers a view of the sea and the island of Elba.
The cuisine, in its simplicity, I would call legendary. The acqua cotta we ordered was the best I've ever had, so good it could compete with much more elaborate dishes from many restaurants. For those who don't know, acqua cotta is made primarily from eggs, bread, celery, and soffritto—simply magical.
The tagliolini in creamed chickpeas was an incredible discovery, on a par with the Rosetta Stone of the first courses, the definitive evolution of the pairing of pasta and legumes. Finally, we come to the first courses, which seems like a contradiction. The pappardelle with wild boar are sumptuous, almost three fingers wide, and extremely rough to accommodate a greasy but consistent and flavorful wild boar ragù. If the pappardelle seemed large, the ricotta and spinach tortelli that arrive are as big as your hand. Also topped with wild boar ragù, the fresh ricotta and spinach create a truly moving perfection on the palate.
Last but not least, the torta della nonna is a monument to the latter, with its dense cream, aromatic and crunchy pastry, and a distinctive toasted pine nut note.
All this, with two bottles of water, cost €65. Congratulations to everyone!

We were there 20 years ago, our last holiday without children, and then again last autumn. "Da Nada" has stayed in our memories because of its warm hospitality (back then you could still see Nada working in the kitchen) and the outstanding, simple yet delicious, fresh, homemade, and authentic food. Twenty years later, our first holiday without children, hardly anything has changed. The Maremma bread soup was one of the best and most delicious dishes I've ever eaten. But the pasta and the wines were fantastic too!
And to top it all off, there was an incredibly friendly and welcoming atmosphere, not least because the owner would often go from table to table, have a brief, unobtrusive chat, and explain and recommend the wines and dishes. Our two visits to "Da Nada" are among the best and most wonderful dining experiences we've ever had.
We hope to return in October 2026 and are already looking forward to it!
Keep up the great work!

We were warmly welcomed into a well-kept and spotlessly clean restaurant. The attention to detail in selecting the ingredients and the presentation are exceptional! As a true Maremma native, I know tortelli well, but here they are truly superior! Everything is top-notch, including Laura, who pampers you and makes you feel at home. We'll definitely be back.

This family-owned restaurant was an absolute treasure, recommended by our Airbnb host, and it turned out to be the best meal of our entire trip through Italy. From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth and love that fills this charming little place. The owner greeted us personally, walked us through the menu with such care, and even offered us a tasting of wines to help us choose the perfect pairing. Every dish was homemade, locally sourced, and prepared with heart — you could truly taste the passion in every bite. By the end of the evening, we were genuinely moved by the experience. It wasn’t just dinner — it was connection, kindness, and authenticity at its finest.
