Exceptional restaurant! Upon arrival, the manager welcomed us in a very friendly manner. We are French, he notices this and begins to speak to us in French after ensuring that it suits us. He explains the menu to us clearly and everything looks excellent. Indeed the cuisine is truly wonderful: taste, seasoning, beautiful presentation and typical dishes from the Ligurian region. The wine advice was also perfect. In short: impeccable and warm service, tasty and original cuisine, and all that at unbeatable low prices. We will come back without hesitation!

Fantastic experience! The food was truly exceptional, very refined taste. The owner is a person who puts his heart into what he does, you can tell from how he talks about the various dishes, explaining the story behind them (such as for the capun magro)! Excellent value for money!

Been in La Spezia for a week and clearly the best restaurant we tried. From the very friendly service to the amazing food with fresh and tasty ingredients, perfectly cooked, everything was perfect ! Would have come back if it wasn’t for our train tomorrow. Recommend it to anyone !

Very special sensory experience

We happened by this place before opening hours, and as we were using the flashlight function on our cell phones to read the menu, a woman inside the restaurant came to the door and accepted our reservation for later that evening. Are we glad she did. We spent eighteen days in Italy, and this dinner had to be one of the two or three best, from every standpoint--atmosphere, welcome, food. The owner, who seemed to enjoy his work (always a good sign) patiently explained everything on the chalkboard menu and clearly wanted to be sure we got what we were looking for. We did. I particularly remember the main dish, tuna steak to die for, accompanied by a white wine from a regional vineyard. Can't remember the name, but I'm sure it's not exported; they had a keg of it, and the owner drew a glass for himself during a lull in the action! The pastry for dessert (chocolate, if memory serves) was subtle, with delightful flavor and texture. A real find.
