13/09/2025: This is an amazing find , went first night in Naples for food and drinks , had repeated visits for Margarita and Negronis through our week stay , and another amazing dinner on last night , beautiful mackrel , sea bass swordfish , smoked pork and fillet steak , as well as fabby dessert, the head waiter is a guy who makes you very welcome , our waitress Anna was also lovely to chat too , and informative about things going on around in Naples , price wise very reasonable for everything we had , a must VISIT .

13/09/2025: A panoramic haven of peace in the chaotic center of Naples. Attention to detail, good food, but above all, excellent service. Salvatore is exceptionally courteous, helpful, patient, and kind. Reluctantly (I wish it remained a hidden gem!), I can only recommend it. For coffee, lunch, a drink, or whatever you fancy. You won't regret it. Thanks also to Mr. Romualdo!

24/08/2025: A well-located restaurant with a welcoming, young staff and very fast service. The menu is original and inclusive. The vegan pizza is excellent, both in terms of its concept and its preparation.

02/09/2025: We chose Poggio della Guardia for our wedding, and the result exceeded our every expectation. A wonderful place, with meticulous attention to detail. The staff was excellent, and Daniela in particular looked after us, made us feel special, and accommodated our every request... she was an exceptional host. The food was also appreciated by all our guests; we ate truly deliciously. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for making our big day unique.

01/09/2025: We loved our experience at Oca Bianca! Our hotel recommended them for a Pesto & Wine Class, which was phenomenal. It was just my husband and I, where we made classic Ligurian pesto that was Cesare and Riccardo's (the brothers who own the restaurant) grandmother's recipe. They then served delicious white and red wines, focaccia, pasta, and basil sorbet. It was so good that we cancelled our reservations for another place a few nights later and came back for dinner. This was a great decision as their menu was fantastic. While most restaurants in town focused on fish given the setting, Oca Bianca does both meats and fish, so it's a nice change. Riccardo used surprising blends of flavors that worked so well together. Every part of the meal was perfect and the picturesque lane we sat in was a great outdoor setting. We hope to come back again soon!

28/08/2025: Absolutely incredible! The food and hospitality is the best here in Santa Margarita. The dishes are works of art that look as good as they taste. My wife and I will certainly come back again!

10/09/2025: The restaurant was a disappointment for me. The atmosphere is far too loud – having a normal conversation is almost impossible. The pizza itself: According to Maps, it's supposed to be the best place in Gallipoli, but I can't believe that. The dough isn't bad, but it's far too heavy. The ingredients are weak – my pizza felt like it was 90% mozzarella and only 10% tomato sauce. After two slices, I was full and felt like I had a stone in my stomach. I've eaten much better pizza Napoletana in Switzerland. I can positively mention the staff: well-organized and friendly. However, I find the price-performance ratio rather disappointing for this quality. To be fair, I'm giving it 3 stars – my frustration would have almost demanded zero. I honestly don't understand why people are queuing here. It's a phenomenon.

06/07/2025: For years our favorite takeaway pizzeria in the area. The dough (even for gluten intolerant) and the ingredients are fresh and quality. Well-filled pizzas. Daniele, Matteo and all the staff are always welcoming and patient. Highly recommended!!

14/08/2025: After a walk to the Fuciade refuge, we raced back to the parking lot, only to notice this small hotel and restaurant on the right overlooking a small lake. The welcome was top-notch; the kindness and care with which they greet guests is priceless, especially after having been surrounded by a crush of strollers and screaming children less than an hour earlier. We sat down and couldn't help but try so many different dishes. The cannelloni were truly excellent, not to mention the spare ribs. Everything was truly remarkable; I was won over by the family-run management and the attention to detail. The menu includes several courses and takes into account allergies and intolerances. It's a place where you feel as pampered as you wish, both while eating and relaxing. Many compliments once again to the Chef and the service. Don't miss it!

13/08/2025: Passing through after a hike in the mountains, we stopped for lunch. Aside from a small hiccup (after a long wait, they told me the dumplings I'd ordered were out of stock—that happens), we ate wonderfully!!! As an apology, the waiter offered us a plate of speck while we waited for our orders, followed by coffee. In the end, I changed the type of dumplings, which were excellent, and my wife had lentil soup, which was sooooo good. Highly recommended, both for the food and the helpfulness of the staff.

21/08/2025: Shameful experience. With friends, everyone ordered the €32 menu. I asked if I could order just one meat dish: they said yes. I chose a fillet with mushrooms and water. When the bill came, I was surprised: €60. “Oh, but the fillet isn't à la carte, it's not sold by weight, we don't know how much it weighed, you have to pay for the whole menu.” (Could they have said that before???) When asked for an explanation, they “corrected” themselves: €55 just because I didn't order dessert. A complete mockery. I paid, but I'll never set foot here again. Dishonest, dishonest, and arrogant people.
