Given that as a family we are accustomed to very good food and have always frequented the best starred restaurants in search of culinary perfection and innovation, as true Modenese, we continue to be guests of Francesca in the beautiful restaurant named after Francesca's father, Amedeo, no. 1 hotelier in Emilia Romagna since always. We do this precisely because as you taste the delights of Amedeo's Modenese and Emilian cuisine, you cannot find the same care and delicacy in the choice of raw materials and quality of the cuisine except perhaps at Arnaldo. From the traditional appetizers, to the first courses all remarkable, up to the gem of the boiled meats and roasts trolley. A round of applause also for the well-stocked and high-quality dessert trolley, all produced by Francesca's chef. Truly well done, they are worth visiting frequently with a truly excellent quality-price ratio and a true Michelin-starred standard. It is not for nothing that he was the winner for Modena in the episode of the 4 restaurants, clearly over the other three restaurateurs and is regularly visited by chef Barbieri and chef Cracco

Wow... a culinary experience worth trying.

Passing through Modena but very happy with the dinner. A well-kept and intimate place, the owner was very kind even to my girls (that's not a given in places like this). The house appetizer was already enough. Different first courses for each of us and all amazing, but the tartare was super! It's a shame we didn't have room for dessert because they were sooooo inviting. The Borghese Award is well deserved. Excellent work!

The gnocchi and tigelle were very well made, fragrant and not greasy, accompanied by excellent cured meats.
Traditional, carefully prepared and authentic cuisine, with a clear focus on the ingredients.
A very beautiful and welcoming place.
Compliments to the hostess for her warm and professional welcome.
A truly pleasant experience, I'll definitely be back!

A restaurant serving traditional Modenese cuisine. The "La Meraviglia" platter offers a selection of cured meats, cheeses, and other traditional delicacies to accompany the amazing gnocco fritto and crescentine, the best I've ever eaten (and I live between Modena and Reggio Emilia). Tortellini in brodo are reminiscent of the ones you'd eat at grandma's house at Christmas—truly delicious! Finally, the boiled meat trolley: there's little to describe, you MUST try it!
The staff: from the girls who leave your clothes at the entrance, to the waiters, the owner, and the chef, all with such courtesy and professionalism that they make you feel at home, without ever compromising on service. The chef and owner pass by the tables, stopping to chat with the diners, demonstrating that they care about their well-being as if they were guests in their own home.
Another highlight is the location, beautiful both inside and out, overlooking the Ducal Palace.
I think it's one of the best restaurants I've ever tried.
