29/08/2024: Wonderful gem of a coffee shop. My wife and I visited here multiple times on vacation. Shop owner remembered our faces on the second day and repeated our prior order. One the third visit he nodded and told us 3 minutes and ready. Great service, awesome coffee and pastries. We will visit again when we return to Rome .

04/08/2024: The best dining experience in the city of Verona and certainly in the province, I won't go any further but I can add that so far it was the best two-Michelin-starred restaurant I have ever tried. Giancarlo Perbellini is able to take his customers on a real journey of scents, aromas, textures, colours, flavours. Absolutely recommended is the X12 menu, which also includes a perfect wine pairing. If you come to visit the city of Verona you cannot miss this opportunity! I personally took the opportunity to share this moment with my fiancée and it has been one of our best memories so far

20/08/2024: Ideal atmosphere for a quiet dinner, in a dining room with just enough light and tastefully decorated around wine. The service is 10, always attentive and friendly. Homemade food (the gnocchi are very delicious) and a board of local sausages and cheeses, highly recommended. He also gave us a very tasty km0 oil to try.

13/08/2024: We went for lunch for a birthday, everything was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, very attentive to food intolerances and allergies. The Panna cotta is absolutely worth trying, it has nothing to do with the ones we have eaten so far. I recommend booking in advance to avoid long waits, especially on weekends. It is also possible to buy preserves and typical local products.

02/08/2024: Fantastic experience! I don't know how to describe it other than fantastic, I had never been to a vegetarian/vegan restaurant and I admit with great satisfaction that I will more than willingly go back to spend another very pleasant evening. We were delighted with an appetizer consisting of seasonal vegetable fritters with sauces made by them (vegan mayo and sweet and sour sauce), focaccia in segments with roasted aubergines, veg mayo, peanuts, spring onion and fresh ginger, nothing short of spacey and in fact highly recommended, and courgette flowers fried. For first courses we chose noodles with sautéed oriental-flavoured vegetables and sesame seeds and potato gnocchi with datterini sauce, friggitelli, stracciata and crunchy crumbs flavored with garlic, oil and chilli. The gnocchi were a little too soft for my taste but they didn't stick to the teeth and were therefore fully enjoyable. And a first of the day of which unfortunately I don't remember the description but it can be seen in the photo. For second courses we focused on courgette meatballs with marinated cabbage, white bean hummus and dried fruit crunch and the second course on the menu of the day, a slice of mushrooms with marrocca (as you can see in the photo). To conclude with a cup with caramel whipped cream and salted peanut crunch. Choice of wine entrusted to the waiter's advice but still a wine list with a more than satisfactory choice. Bread produced by them and also varied between focaccia, walnut bread, olive bread, wholemeal bread and so on! There were 5 of us at the table and we all left super satisfied both for the quantity but above all for the quality of the food eaten, if we really want to find a flaw the waiting times are a little above average but the place was full so I'm sure that in a calmer situation you are calmly on schedule. The presence of a menu of the day is excellent for those who perhaps prefer to break away from the à la carte menu which, however, as you can see from the photo, offers more than satisfactory choices. In short, many compliments on the cuisine and the service and a great desire to come back and try the rest!

01/08/2024: The “Fritelle di verdure” (baked vegetables) is really extremely tasty.

14/08/2024: An institution of the area. High quality raw materials, artisanal preparation of many dishes. In the service, kindness and professionalism are constants from the moment you enter until the end. For us it is becoming a fixed stop when we pass through this area. I recommend the Ascoli olives (homemade), the fried lamb and the vegetables.

12/08/2024: The four of us (two adults and two small children) had dinner here the day before yesterday. We were received enthusiastically by the friendly and good English-speaking staff (including a very sweet lady who spoke much better English than us). We had the antipasti Pippo e Gabriëlle, which was delicious, quite a lot, so make sure you have an empty stomach! The usual antipasti was supplemented with local products, including some surprising foods that we would not normally eat (these were very tasty, by the way). My wife had the selection of pasta and really liked it. I had the tagliata di manzo. I can honestly say this was one of the better cuts of meat I have ever eaten! The children took pizza margherita, which was beautifully baked with a thin tasty base. In short; very tasty and welcoming! And for those prices, you won't find that anywhere in the Netherlands! Three days later we ate there again on a Saturday, it was completely full, as is often the case during the weekend in Italy (we had made a reservation), and we had a perfect meal again, a delicious steak and pizza bianchi. Gabrielle, Fabio and the other staff, thank you for your hospitality!

29/08/2024: Incredibly pleasant experience, during the hazelnut festival. Excellent food, plentiful and genuine. Friendly and attentive service. We will be back.

22/08/2024: Trip out of town from Rome, discovering the beautiful Villa Farnese. Lunch time we find this splendid place, which at first sight is hidden, but then going down the ramp, you arrive in this immense place that was created from an ancient cellar... hence the name of the place. I took a small house starter, but the wonderful thing is the first courses. There are so many dishes that I would have liked to try them all. We took the red daisies with gorgonzola cream, speck and walnuts SPECTACULAR and ravioli filled with artichoke cream with mushrooms and truffles. But believe me, there are many other tasty and innovative first courses. For the second course I only had an entrecôte also here with gorgonzola cream. For dessert, hazelnut tiramisu, being Caprarola, a town that produces them. The wine was from neighboring Umbria. Excellent service. High cost but it's all for the quality!
