Delicious food especially bruscetta and my husband said the venison was melt in the mouth. Tagliatini and fennel and orange salad also very good.
Disnt particularly like the flying tiramisu as hard biscuit in centre.
Tad expensive.

We dined at "Al Tartufo" in early June, when the Scorsone truffle is in season.
The menu is well-designed and the food pairings are very thoughtful, and the wine list also offers a good selection of local and international wines. We personally preferred the second courses to the first courses, which in our opinion had a few small flaws. My venison fillet (a dish without truffle, by the way) was exceptional, and my companion particularly enjoyed the tagliata with lard, truffle, and walnuts.
The service deserves special mention: the waiter who served us was extremely knowledgeable and extremely kind.

A delight for the palate!!
After asking a couple in the restaurant for advice, I went here for dinner.
The staff explained everything about truffles before taking my order.
I ordered tagliatellino with truffles...a delight for the palate!!
Then I had the beef tartare, very good!
I also returned for lunch.
A special compliment to the staff in the restaurant, Peter, Eleonora, and Leonardo, because you can see they work with passion.
And congratulations to the chef, of course 😄😄

I was truly looking forward to this restaurant after reading so many reviews and I am a big fan of truffles. I felt the staff were very professional and pretty knowledgeable about truffles and we had some lovely conversations about them. I think they also appreciated that I speak Italian. The wine was pretty good and really inexpensive and they allow you to taste it even if it’s by the glass. As I told the waiter the millefogli alla Patate was divine and one of the best antipasti I’ve ever had. At this point my expectations were very high. I must say I was a bit disappointed by my pasta dish - I had the ravioli with rocotta and truffle. I felt they were neither very fresh nor very warm so it didn’t live up to my expectations. My mum had the packet I which were pretty nice. I feel overall they are very generous with truffle shavings which is highly appreciated. I think still worth the visit if you are into truffles.

Simply an exceptional experience!
I truly ate divinely, every dish was meticulously crafted, with authentic flavors and top-quality ingredients. You could sense the passion and expertise in every course.
I've been a food and beverage manager for over 25 years, and I must say that being satisfied is anything but easy... but here they managed to surprise me in every way.
A special round of applause goes to Lorenzo, brilliant, attentive, and always present without being intrusive: impeccable service.
And then Leonardo... simply superb: he manages to transform every dish into an experience.
The welcoming atmosphere was perfect for enjoying a proper dinner.
I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants a true culinary experience, not just a dinner.

Definitely the place in the centre of Perugia for an elegant authentic and curated truffle experience. (Not sure about the pea sized truffles with subtle flavours that they grate .. but hey, what do I know)
