17/08/2025: A truly lovely and well-kept place. Even though it was Saturday night and we hadn't booked, the girl found us a table right away, warning us that we'd have a bit of a wait. We were actually served after about ten minutes. The food was truly high-quality, especially the bread and meat! The pizza was also excellent. Compliments to both the kitchen and the girl, who was truly kind, friendly, and helpful! Unfortunately, our vacation is over, but we'll definitely be back to eat here next year! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

28/08/2025: Tempted by the excellent reviews, we came to try the recommended burgers. After a long wait, they served one and forgot about the other. Communication in English was unrealistic. The burgers themselves were nothing special. I don't recommend them.

16/08/2025: Beautiful place! Very atmospheric and lovely location. Very friendly staff! The owner is very attentive to his guests, and the food is excellent! The menu isn't extensive, but it changes periodically. What's on the menu is very tasty and of excellent quality!

08/08/2025: Dinner at the crotto. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The waitress was very good, polite, and calm, and very knowledgeable. The kitchen staff were also very good. The dishes were excellent, with high-quality ingredients and even the desserts were excellent. There were five of us, and all our dishes arrived at the same time, without any waiting. Everyone was very satisfied. Highly recommended!

23/08/2025: First time at this place. As soon as we walked in, we wanted to leave... because we weren't expecting to have to share a table with other people... and the place seemed strange. Then we decided to stay, and it was a unique and fun experience... both thanks to the friendliness of the staff and the owner. Part of the menu was hanging around the waiters' necks... a unique and fun thing. Delicious food and good portions. Kudos to Giggino & Co!

22/08/2025: Eating well while smiling so much has never happened to me. If you're in Battipagna, you have to go to O Vicolo 'E L' Allegria to eat. Congratulations on everything, not to be missed.

09/09/2025: We had the most wonderful meal that was expertly assisted by our beautiful waitress. Our service was exceptional as we are not experienced with traditional Italian meals and we had excellent recommendations from the starter to the wine.

05/09/2025: Mamma mia! Delicious pizzas, authentic pasta. Traditional, homemade flavor. The master chef is a delight. We had dinner last time in Naples and loved the discovery so much that the next day we went for pasta to take back to the airport. Great idea, huh? Thanks for the friendly service and the incredible food.

14/09/2025: I've been going there for years now, it's one of my all-time favorite places, and I take all my friends there. The food is amazing, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

13/09/2025: Very clean and well-kept environment, traditional furnishings, and friendly service. The chickpea hummus is delicious. I also recommend the chicken shawarma. For dessert, I had the baklava with mint tea. Everything was delicious.

29/08/2025: Excellent restaurant with a breathtaking view. The road to get there is winding, but the journey is worth it. Excellent food, fast service, courteous waiters, and nothing to complain about. They even offered us limoncello (very good) and sfogliatelle!

13/08/2025: Stumbled upon this place after looking for a restaurant in the area that would serve pasta dishes. Called and made a reservation (recommended as they do get busy) and they were happy to accommodate. The pasta dishes on the menu currently are a 3 tomato spaghetti, and a cacio e pepe parpadelle with prawn tartare, so not your average lengthy list of pasta dishes but more bespoke and delicious. The 3 chocolate mousse with tangerine gel for dessert was amazing, as was the White Chocolate Lava Cake. So save room for dessert. The ambiance of the whole restaurant is lovely, and the staff friendly and attentive. Just watch out for mosquitoes if you’re going in the height of summer and go prepared with repellent spray etc. as they were out in force. The restaurant had incense burner repellent measures in place and no slight on them that mozzies were present, but something to be aware of to go prepared!

08/08/2025: We had dinner on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. There were 4 of us adults. We had two courses each and dessert. Everything was good, and none of the desserts appealed to me. I opted for a rum. We dined out, and unfortunately, the midges proved to be a nuisance. The portions were a bit small, and the free welcome drink was so small that perhaps it would be better not to serve it. 4 stars because the food was good in a nice place with good service, but the dishes weren't unforgettable.

08/07/2025: Gick på alla bra recensioner men blev besviken. Maten var ok men inte mer än så, vi åt beef cheek och sliced beef som vi frågade om den var grillad vilket den skulle vara men kom sedan stekt och ganska senig och helt utan salt. beef check var bättre men medelmåttig för det priset. Ok service, var inte många sällskap där men ändå hög ljudmiljö.

28/06/2025: Excellent place to eat good meat, the cheese and sausage appetizer is exquisite. It says "small" and can accommodate up to three people. Everything is delicious and at a very good price. 100% recommended. We had a cheese and sausage appetizer, a main course of meat each, and two soft drinks and two glasses of wine.
