21/08/2025: Good food, but the portions were a bit small. What I was disappointed about was that when I asked for French fries instead of beans as a side dish with the cutlet, they told me it wasn't possible. Yet, these were sides on the menu and were the same price. They definitely didn't have a plate with the cutlet and beans in the fridge, so they reheated it. They fried the cutlet and could have fried the fries in the meantime.

17/08/2025: I found this restaurant on my way back from a two-day stay in Mugello, and I have to say it was a very pleasant surprise. The food was excellent, the setting beautiful, and the service welcoming and not too formal, just the way I like it. The only small flaw was too many flowers on the plates. But I would definitely return, perhaps in the evening.

07/09/2025: We returned to this restaurant, where three of us had dinner in one of the rooms. The place is tidy, and the staff is young and very friendly. We had the fried mushroom appetizer (I wouldn't have used rosemary in the breading because it overpowered the flavor a bit), the offal appetizer, and the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms for a first course. For dessert, we had a tartlet with cream and caramelized apple, and the caramelized pineapple with its sorbet. Everything was good; the portions aren't large, but they were absolutely adequate. There was also the option of grilled meat and fish because the grill was lit. I like it for the quiet atmosphere, the refined food, the friendly staff, and the good value.

24/07/2025: We dined at this restaurant this evening, but I couldn't wait any longer to leave my review. When we arrived, we were greeted by exceptional staff. Knowledgeable, competent, but also super kind and approachable. We completely trusted them and couldn't have made a better choice. We chose one of the available menus and received appetizers including frisée, vitello tonnato, meatballs, pulled pork, and a selection of cured meats and cheeses. The main course was entrecote with sweeter cuts. I can't find a dish we didn't enjoy. The meat was AMAZING. The super Federica served us: helpful, attentive, and incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back.

30/06/2025: We stopped at the Il Covo pizzeria restaurant thanks to the advice of a local and I must say that he advised us well. The restaurant is very large inside, but there is also the possibility of having lunch outside under a porch or under a gazebo and we chose to stay outside given the good weather. We were 2 adults and a child. We ordered a fixed menu for 12 euros (for the child) which included a first course, a second course and a side dish, and two plates of spaghetti with clams and a mixed fried food. The portions were very very abundant and rich, very tasty and satisfying dishes both in taste and to the sight. The staff were kind and friendly. Excellent prices. If we return to Porto Tolle we will definitely stop at the Il Covo restaurant.

11/08/2025: Yesterday we had dinner at this establishment, we were given exactly an hour for dinner, they sat us at the most uncomfortable table, the pizza was one of the worst I've ever eaten, we ordered three different ones and three were pretty tasteless. The staff was friendly, that's the only plus.

09/08/2025: Sera d’estate, una pizza a Golfo Aranci:? Impossibile non andare in questo locale, caratteristico e molto carino, con una pizza eccezionale!! Eravamo in sette, abbiamo preso tutti pizze diverse, ottime! Un cenno per “la parmigiana”, al primo assaggio sembra di assaporare una porzione di melanzane alla Parmigiana, e nonostante fosse bella abbondante, finita e apprezzata fino all’ultimo spicchio. Gentilezza e cortesia.

26/08/2025: Late summer dinner on the veranda, a very welcoming place, with qualified and extremely friendly staff!! A fine wine from the Romagna hills from the Santini winery paired with a dinner of gnocchi with Romagna ragù, followed by an excellent Romagna beef rib served with superb stuffed zucchini, sautéed wild herbs, and gratinated vegetables. To round out this wonderful experience, we ordered their tiramisu, but the real highlight was the nocino tiramisu... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

24/08/2025: Beautiful spot in a lovely Italian village. We had a delicious lunch with pasta. The kids were also very happy. Choose good weather and you can sit outside on the terrace. But when the weather isn't so good, it's also great to enjoy that authentic Italian atmosphere inside.

18/08/2025: Entering this restaurant after exploring Viterbo's historic center for lunch on August 15th was as comforting as arriving at a desert oasis. The extremely kind waiter led us to an elegant, softly lit room featuring creative table settings with attention to detail. The dishes we chose showcased quality ingredients and refined presentation. From the mixed appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious and original. A seafood first course and a guinea fowl terrine were brought together with just the right amount of anticipation. The desserts were delicious: gelato in a pool of blueberries cooked in wine, and mint mousse in a chocolate shell. Excellent wine and beer. I hadn't seen coffee in a cup with a lid in a long time. The prices were reasonable for the food and the hospitality. My heartfelt congratulations for your hard work, done with care and passion.

12/08/2025: Staying for a couple of days in Soave... looking for typical yet "original" restaurants, we found it all at the inn. Excellent, refined cuisine and great expertise...we tried the chef's surprise tasting menu...we couldn't have made a better choice.... Highly recommended....

29/07/2025: Non vedevo l’ora di fare questa recensione! Stavamo tornando da Milano in direzione Venezia e, cercando un ristorante tramite google, siamo capitati in questa locanda che è stata una meravigliosa scoperta! Avete presente quando tutto dalla A alla Z è perfetto? Ecco! In questa locanda tutto è stato perfetto! Dall’accoglienza, al servizio al cibo al prezzo, tutto! Ci siamo affidati a Paolo che per ogni portata ci dava il vino adatto ad accompagnarlo, cosa che non ho mai trovato da nessuna parte perché generalmente ti fanno scegliere il vino che berrai dall’inizio alla fine. Nicola ci ha aiutati nella scelta del cibo e le porzioni facendoci gustare dei cibi sublimi! Affettati e i formaggi di grande qualità, il risotto che mantiene la promessa di essere uno dei migliori perché è il loro piatto forte per il quale sono stati meritatamente premiati. La pastissada di cavallo, un piatto che non avevamo mai assaggiato, qualcosa di straordinario! Accompagnato da un cavolo cappuccio (che io adoro) cotto nel vino e una nota di cannella, paradisiaco! Al dolce non ci siamo arrivati solo perché eravamo apposto, ma sono certa al 100% che anche quello sarebbe stato perfetto… e per concludere il caffè fatto con la moka napoletana TOP! 30/08/2025: Good but… Fresh and delicious fish. Friendly and helpful staff. Portions a bit small. I think the pasta with clams was barely 70 grams.
