Gluten-free pappardelle with exceptional wild boar ragù and also the princess loin with asparagus and parmesan cream excellent

This might have been our favorite dinner in Italy on our trip - and I don't make that claim lightly! My wife has Celiac disease and so needs to eat food that is free of gluten but also safe from cross-contact with gluten. They offer an entire gluten-free menu (which is nearly identical to the "normal" menu, not just an abridged version!) with all the starters, pastas, main courses, and desserts you'd expect. And all of our courses were excellent! The food, service, and atmosphere are all 10/10. Highly, highly recommended for a couples' night out in Florence.

The entire menu is also gluten-free. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù truly delicious!!! The place is very nice and the service impeccable.

Very accommodating for a vegetarian - I got a pesto dish that originally had shrimp, and they were totally willing to do it without. Delicious!

Our first night in Florence we spent quite a bit of time searching for a great meal. We selected Hostaria for our party of eight. Hostaria was a huge hit. Everyone loved their meal. The ambiance is wonderful. Our server did a fabulous job. It made our trip. The meal was so good, my wife and I went back two nights later. We recommend the Caprese, Spagetti, and Florentine steaks. Enjoy!

An extraordinary place that we want to revisit with love and taste from the very tasty menus!

Locale accogliente, con una atmosfera calda creata da una sapiente scelta delle luci. Flan viola di cavolo cappuccio squisito. Le pappardelle al cinghiale sono superlative e la costata con i funghi molto buona. Ottimo il tiramisù, leggero e spumoso. Il personale attento e gentile senza essere invadente. Una serata tranquilla molto piacevole.

A poca distanza dagli Uffizi, si trova questo locale elegante: si chiama "Hostaria", ma della vecchia Osteria, come si intende spesso, non ha molto: è un ristorante con una certa eleganza, bella presentazione dei tavoli (anche se un poco stretti) e dell'apparecchiatura; buona l'accoglienza da parte del personale. Menù piuttosto vario, con una prevalenza dei piatti della tradizione toscana. Abbiamo scelto: Antipasti: Caprese di Tartufo con pomodoro, cuore di burrata, tartufo nero fresco e perle di tartufo nero; Primi piatti: Tagliolini con fonduta leggera di gorgonzola, tartufo fresco in scaglie e perle di tartufo nero; Pappardelle al cinghiale Secondi piatti: Carrè di agnello al forno con tartufo nero fresco e salsa di formaggio al tartufi bianco; Filetto di Manzo ai ferri e Tagliata di Manzo braciata con parmigiano reggiano e rucola con contorno di patate al forno. Vino: Chianti. Giudizio sicuramente positivo sia come qualità che quantità. Servizio veloce e puntuale; prezzi superiore alla media, giustificato dalle materie prime. Consigliato.
