21/09/2025: In the heart of this small village, there's a pastry shop that will surprise you. The best gluten-free pasticciotto I've ever eaten! The pastry shop is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the workroom is open to the public. And many gluten-free products. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

07/09/2025: We purposely went to this pastry shop to try their pasticciotti, and I must say we weren't disappointed! They were delicious. The staff was incredibly kind, even though they were closing, and they served us. Highly recommended!

22/09/2025: Trattoria in the countryside, located high above Lake Scandarello - a very green and easygoing atmosphere, a quiet place for a "slow life." Fast and efficient service, friendly staff. Cool interior, pleasant outdoor tables (with a light breeze) in the shade, near the greenery. The fried coratella and zucchini were very tasty and plentiful. Excellent and plentiful homemade ravioli - with meat sauce. Tender and flavorful lamb, very good both in the fried breadcrumb version and in the grilled version. The mixed roast was a bit dry, not as good as the rest. Good bill: €69 for three for a full meal (without dessert), including wine. Fair and fair prices, considering the more than generous portions.

Everything is natural, but there are also new flavors, carefully crafted yet still natural, without any added powders or other strange ingredients. For those like me who grew up with the natural gelato my father made, it was like being a child again, with authentic, genuine flavors. Haven't been yet? What are you waiting for? Once you try it, you'll never leave! And it's not just a place to grab a gelato and run away, it's also a meeting place, a place where kindness and politeness reign supreme, where you can joke around and, if your work situation allows, even have a chat. Thanks, guys, you're fantastic.

21/09/2025: Hidden among the cobbled streets of Dogliani, it welcomes you with a small opening in a historic wall, but as soon as you enter, everything becomes spacious and tastefully furnished. The exhibitions of paintings dedicated to rock artists are also tasteful. The service is excellent and very professional. I recommend the tasting menu for first-time visitors. The welcome dish is a must. Delicate appetizers, traditional first courses, and compliments on the rabbit for the second courses, but all with a Langhe soul.

07/10/2025: On our last day in Rome, we discovered this restaurant, a haven of peace in the bustling Trastevere. Exquisite home-style cooking and wonderful service. Highly recommended. I don't usually take photos of food, but here's one of spaghetti carbonara in a crispy cheese basket—spectacular.

01/11/2025: Pizzeria located in Secondigliano. We ordered several fried pizzas and a few pizzas. The pizza was good; the fried pizza was large, well-topped, and very light. It arrived promptly. Recommended.

15/08/2025: A friend and I whent there. The food was delicious and cheap (20€ for 2). The staff is friendly and speaks English. Possibly to for a takeaway if you can't finish. Plus they do the fry pizza. We recommend

12/09/2025: This is a great bar/cafe and must be one of the best in Mussomeli. It can be a busy place sometimes but the staff are very hard working, friendly and efficient. It’s a great place to eat and to have a drink - ask for the menu, you won’t be disappointed. It’s worth visiting for the ice cream alone, a cracking selection and amazing value. Owner Federico is a credit to Sicilian and Mussomeli warmth and hospitality.

15/10/2025: A delightful find. Though we arrived before evening meal service began (19.00) we were made very welcome and enjoyed an aperitivo while we rested awhile - it had been a long day. We were drawn in by an exciting menu, free of the usual Italian clichés. Service and food exemplary, the sea bass in particular. Tight wine list with some unusual choices. Quiet street location (despite the trams) convenient for Milano Centrale. Nice to think we have somewhere to return to when next in Milan.
