19/11/2025: To me, A’Marenna is the best place for sandwiches and salads in Sorrento—not only for the food, but also for the staff and the vibe! They have so many choices that it was hard to decide, since I liked so many toppings. I tried the panuozzo and the No.5 salad. Even though I’m not usually a fish lover, the tuna fillet was excellent—paired with cheese, almonds, apples, and greens, it offered layers of flavour and texture. I loved it so much that I ordered the same sandwich two days in a row! We ordered quite a lot: each salad comes with bread, and we also had a salad and a sandwich each. The staff wondered if we could finish everything, and we did—it became our dinner that day and breakfast the next morning. The staff were very friendly and chatted with us while preparing the food. One of them shared her love for Florence when I mentioned my upcoming trip, and when I returned the next day, they still remembered us despite serving so many customers daily. That made us feel really welcome. I also had a nice conversation with one of the staff about her holiday plans. She mentioned wanting to visit Tanzania but was concerned about the situation there. I truly hope she has a wonderful and safe journey—she deserves a relaxing holiday after such a busy tourist season.

11/11/2025: Ate lunch and dinner here several times. Had both sandwiches and salads. Everything was fantastic. And the ladies who run the place are super friendly. Highly recommend you give it a try.

12/03/2026: Passing through Caluso for a medical appointment, we decided to treat ourselves to lunch at this very famous restaurant in the area. Despite our delay (we arrived at 2:15 PM), we were greeted with great kindness and escorted to the main dining room on the ground floor. The restaurant is beautiful, with a refined yet not overly formal atmosphere. There are several options for lunch. We opted for a classic menu and a gourmet menu. The amuse-bouche were very interesting, particularly the one with Bra sausage, ricotta, and a mulled wine reduction. We continued with two fantastic dishes. Fassona beef tartare, although simple, was delicious. One of the best I've ever had, the quality of the meat was top-notch. The gourmet menu, however, began with a free-range rooster plin, Nizza cardoon, and Passito: the best stuffed pasta I've had this year. Leek risotto was very good, creamy, and had balanced flavors. They offered us a change to the gourmet menu: duck instead of the grilled Fassona fillet. We accepted the change; I think I did the right thing. To finish, a zabaglione with Caluso passito, expertly whipped, and torcetti. A cheese tasting was included. All accompanied by two glasses of Nebbiolo. All the leavened pastries and similar were also noteworthy. The service was professional, but deliberately not too formal. We spent €50 each, including water, wine, and coffee. I will definitely be back.

22/12/2025: La Gouterie is undoubtedly the best pastry shop, both sweet and savory, entirely gluten-free and lactose-free, that I know. They make many traditional Apulian desserts in gluten-free/lactose-free versions, as well as custom orders (cakes, panzerotti, etc.). They also sell a wide selection of packaged gluten-free products. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

09/12/2025: Excellent gluten-free cake, delicious, very well made and very tasty, ditto for the cookies I ordered that were supposed to be dairy-free and I found them! Everything was VERY appreciated and they already asked for more at home! The staff and owners were very kind and helpful, they helped me with my choice, giving me good advice with patience and kindness! I'm very satisfied, I'll be back again and again ❤️

10/10/2025: Cicchetti joint right by the canal in Venice-tiny place, super packed, but damn the bites were sharp, the spritz was cold, and the water view? Gold. Good little hideout.

This is the authentic Venetian spirit perfected. Do yourself a favor: if you are ever in Venice, make sure you stop by and say hi to Francesco! ​Bacaro ae Bricoe is truly an unmissable gem. Not only do you get this incredibly warm, familial service, but the location is spectacular—it’s a beautiful waterfront spot, perfect for sipping an ombra and watching the boats go by. The atmosphere is cozy, rustic, and constantly buzzing with happy locals. ​And let's talk about the food and value. Their cicchetti are miniature masterpieces of Venetian flavor, but the prices are highly reasonable, especially considering the quality and the prime location. You can enjoy an evening of phenomenal wine, delicious small bites, and unmatched hospitality without breaking the bank. ​This is more than a wine bar; it is an authentic, soul-soothing slice of Venice, run by three of the best hosts in the city. 08/03/2026: We went to Cecco's for dinner in the Alta Langa area. We discovered it while browsing the restaurants and trattorias closest to the Alta Langa region, and despite calling to reserve a table "at the last minute," they were very accommodating in welcoming us at 9:00 PM. The service was impeccable, high-quality, and the atmosphere comfortable, both rustic and elegant. Such attention to guests is rare: the bathroom is equipped with everything you need, far beyond the norm. The menu features classic Piedmontese dishes with a touch of Italian influence. I really appreciated the chef's innovative approach, bringing a breath of fresh air from beyond the region (for example, tajarin with Bolognese ragù). The description describes an excellent restaurant with a truly excellent quality-price ratio. We are thrilled to have discovered such a refined osteria, and we will return when we next visit the Langhe!

01/03/2026: A pleasant discovery! On a Sunday strolling among hazelnut trees in the Langhe, we discovered this place, where our first impression was very positive. Our first impression was confirmed, no complaints there. From the dishes to the staff, everything was very positive; smiles and kindness reign supreme. Everything was truly impeccable! This place will remain in the top ten places to enjoy good food and relaxation. In short, a place well worth a visit.

05/11/2025: The bacon dumplings were unfortunately very dense. The salad was presented rather carelessly, the bread slices should have been crispier, some of the tomato pieces were enormous, the apricot dumpling was good, but the vanilla sauce was very runny and lacked any thickening. The plate could have been presented more attractively. They should consider whether the butter and cinnamon crumbs were sufficient. Perhaps a dollop of cream would be more visually appealing and better in terms of taste. The service was very attentive, almost a bit too much so. The ambiance was very nice.

03/03/2026: I always enjoy returning to Hostaria La Posta when I'm in the area. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The friendly and welcoming service immediately puts you at ease. On their recommendation, I had the cicadas: truly delicious, fresh, and presented with simplicity. You can taste the attention to the quality of the ingredients and the well-crafted cuisine. The wine list is also very interesting, with well-chosen selections. The welcome they even gave to our dog was much appreciated. A place we'll gladly return to.

18/02/2026: The restaurant is very nice with very hot air conditioning, then the food was really delicious and then as soon as you order after three or four minutes the waiter brings it to you immediately and above all they themselves are both nice and friendly.
