13/11/2025: Located in the most noble and vibrant heart of Verona's historic center, Greppia Restaurant is a prime destination for those wishing to immerse themselves in Veronese gastronomic tradition, presented with elegance, authenticity, and timeless charm. Highly recommended by numerous residents, the restaurant welcomes guests into a warm, refined, and characterful atmosphere, instantly evoking the city's historic soul.
The staff stands out for their professionalism, courtesy, and attentive yet never intrusive service. Every request is met with ease, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable experience. Impeccable cleanliness throughout the restaurant is a testament to attentive and meticulous management.
The extensive and well-structured menu offers a journey through traditional Veronese flavors and recipes. While interesting and full of character, the addition of a few more classic options would have made the offering even more versatile for those who might not be drawn to certain traditional dishes.
The selection of first courses was the highlight of the dinner. The fettuccine with black truffle from the Lessini Mountains was extraordinary: impeccably cooked, perfectly creamed, intensely fragrant, and a top-quality truffle harmoniously integrated into the dish. A true celebration of the region.
The green ricotta and spinach ravioli with butter were also very refined, with their thin pasta and creamy, balanced filling. The potato gnocchi with red radicchio were also very soft, well-executed, and enhanced by the pleasant bitterness of the radicchio, an elegant and surprisingly harmonious combination.
However, a significant point concerns the rather small portions, especially the first courses: excellent, yes, but not entirely satisfying in terms of generosity, a particularly expected element in traditional cuisine.
The Milanese cutlet was a more challenging experience, elegantly presented but penalized by uneven cooking, with some parts excessively rare. This preparation, due to its technique and its long history, requires greater precision.
The wine list is well-structured, with a rich and coherent selection of local and national labels, designed to intelligently complement the entire gastronomic journey.
The restrooms, while well-maintained and spotlessly clean, unfortunately have one limitation: being located in the basement, they are inaccessible to wheelchair users, a particularly important aspect today in terms of inclusivity.
Finally, the bill was the most disappointing aspect of the evening. The price, significantly high, does not fully reflect the actual quantities of the dishes, leaving a perception of an imbalance between cost and portions offered. This factor impacts the overall experience, despite acknowledging the good quality of the ingredients.
In conclusion, Greppia offers cuisine rooted in Veronese tradition, with peaks of excellence especially in the first courses, attentive service, and an evocative atmosphere. Some improvements, particularly in the portions and in the quality-price ratio, would further elevate a restaurant that remains significant in the city's culinary landscape.

24/10/2025: Well, what can I say...once you go, you won't be able to get enough. Yesterday was our second time; we'd been there three years ago. Let's start with the kindness of the owner and waiter, two delightful people, kind, helpful, and smiling. The atmosphere is incredible, somewhere between rustic and elegant, a combination that makes this restaurant a true gem, with truly meticulous attention to detail. The food is ionospheric, I've only eaten like this at home; I've never seen a restaurant with such authentic and genuine flavors. The Genovese was top-notch, as were the house antipasto and tiramisu. A truly exquisite menu, and above all, meticulous attention to flavor and presentation, because, as we all know, appearance counts. Truly a rare gem. I'll always return whenever possible.
01/10/2025: Spent our last night in Italy at this restaurant. What an incredible choice!! From the warm welcome, to the unbelievably delicious food, to the owner asking about our dining experience and informing us about Napoli history and tradition, everything was 10/10. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to stop here!! I cannot wait to return next time we are in the area. Special mention goes to the Ziti Genovese, the Salted Caramel Panne Cotta and the Fillet.

06/11/2025: Spent a weekend with my wife in this beautiful hotel and everything was perfect, the location, restaurant, the staff and the facilities. We really enjoyed our stay.
08/10/2025: We stayed at the Palace Spa Hotel as a couple. It was wonderful; you feel like you're in the best hands. The entire staff was super friendly; there was nothing to complain about. But one thing: We'll be back next year, and that's taking too long.

11/07/2025: We're on vacation here in Albenga, and for my daughter's birthday, we ordered a cake from this pastry shop.
The staff are incredibly friendly, the price is fair, and the cake is excellent.
Every time you come in, they always give you a taste of one of their sweet treats.
After picking up the cake, they also gave me a bag of savory tarallini because they've been making savory ones for a year now...
Highly recommended!

24/10/2025: We found this place thanks to a free smart box, booked the day before, and enjoyed a platter of delicious cold cuts and cheeses with broccoli meatballs and a special green tomato jam, plus a delicious plate of trofie and a nice wine. The lady was friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much.

10/10/2025: My husband and I had dinner at Terrazza Calabritto restaurant in Naples, and it was a truly special experience. We chose to sit on the terrace, with a view that provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. The restaurant has been tastefully renovated: elegant yet not cold, refined yet welcoming, every detail exudes care and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire dining room team, especially Andrea and Lorenzo, who immediately made us feel at ease, as if we were special guests. The service was impeccable: attentive, friendly, but never intrusive. And what about the food? The spider crab was simply exceptional, the best I've ever eaten, incredibly fresh and prepared to enhance every flavor without ever overpowering it. The high quality of the ingredients and the great expertise in the kitchen are clearly evident. Every dish we tasted was a mini-journey through the flavors of the sea, with meticulous presentation and well-balanced portions. It's rare to find a restaurant where everything—ambience, service, cuisine—comes together so harmoniously, offering a complete and authentic experience. We'll definitely be back, because places like this deserve to be experienced multiple times.

11/11/2025: With regret, for no apparent reason, it's been a while since I've had the pleasure of visiting this historic restaurant as I used to. It offers tasty and authentic Piedmontese cuisine in every aspect, from appetizers to desserts, including my favorites (agnolotti with roast beef sauce!), to be savored with eyes closed. The service is attentive to the guest's needs. The rustic, well-kept atmosphere is just how I like it. I hope to return soon.
Highly recommended.

We'd paid a lot for that! High prices for average food.

24/10/2025: This rustic, wooden restaurant doesn't look very inviting from the outside, but once inside, you're greeted by professional and friendly waiters. The meat and appetizers we sampled were very good. A good selection of wines is available. Recommended for dinners with friends.

30/08/2025: The restaurant is on a provincial road, relatively isolated; it consists of two rather welcoming rooms.
The staff is friendly; we start with the first courses: trofie del macellaio and pappardelle with wild boar; the portions are generous and the dishes are tasty.
For the second course, we order a fillet steak and a tagliata del chef (with an assortment of garnishes: porcini mushrooms, smoked provola cheese, and salad with parmesan). The tagliata—most of the portion—is very tough and difficult to chew. The fries are excessively greasy (wasn't it placed on paper towels?) and partially raw inside. The fillet steak is decent.
The bill is a bit high for the quality of the meal: without wine, appetizers and dessert are well over €40/person. We were especially disappointed with the meat.

05/10/2025: We booked at Fratelli Torcinelli for a Sunday lunch and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. A good selection of wines by the bottle or glass. The fava bean and chicory appetizer and the zampina sausage for the main course are highly recommended! Definitely worth a try!
