A beacon of true Piedmontese tradition: authentic hospitality and timeless quality I've been frequenting this restaurant for over twenty years, ever since I traveled extensively for work. It's always been a must-visit and a true point of reference. Now that I have more time to share the good things with others, I'm particularly keen to say a few words about this place. For its "Piedmontese-ness," it deserves even more than the maximum 5 stars available! For those who wish to discover authentic local cuisine, the selection here is extensive: The Appetizers: A wide selection of great Piedmontese classics, all expertly crafted: from vitello tonnato to insalata russa, from carne crudo battuta to tongue in salsa verde. First Courses: An excellent selection featuring the ever-present agnolotti and the famous Piedmontese tajarin, served with classic roast meat sauce, a rich ragù, or a fragrant porcini mushroom sauce. Second Courses: The kingdom of great traditional dishes: they are famous for their mixed fried fish, braised meats, and boiled meats, but the kitchen is always ready to satisfy those who prefer something lighter, maintaining a truly timeless attention to ingredients. Desserts and the Ultimate Treat: There's a truly amazing treat that I've never found anywhere else: zabaglione, freshly prepared at the table, hand-crafted in a copper polponetto over a small stove just like they used to be, served piping hot and accompanied by cornmeal biscuits. Today, needing to be a little more careful about my weight, I treated myself to a trio of traditional appetizers (very rich and filling), followed by an excellent grilled entrecôte, thick and perfectly rare, with baked potatoes and green beans. I finished with a delicious fruit salad with liqueur and a coffee. The atmosphere reflects the classic and charming Turin style: warm, welcoming, just the right amount of retro, and with a beautiful outdoor seating area. A place with a true soul, far removed from the usual modern formats. The service is impeccable: the staff is exquisite, knowledgeable, and exemplary. The price is more than fair and perfectly commensurate with the high quality offered. Rediscovering these flavors and this atmosphere means immersing yourself once again in authentic tradition. Nothing but praise. Highly recommended!

A beautiful place for dinner or lunch, even outdoors. (A few flies, unfortunately 😔) But the food and service are truly exceptional. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent Piedmontese restaurant! We tried many dishes, all excellent. A minus for the atmosphere, which was very noisy because it was absolutely packed. Compliments to the service and cuisine on a challenging day in terms of the number of guests. The zabaglione made at the table is fabulous!
