11/11/2025: This restaurant is so good, that one of our party ate there over 25 years ago, that we hunted it down, and ate there twice within 14 hours. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, full of Porta Venezia locals, the food is amazing, great quality produce, so fresh, expertly cooked, well presented, served by friendly, attentive waiters.

16/10/2025: A delicious dinner. The initial welcome at the end of the meal was a real experience. I was curious to learn about chef Giuliano Baldessari's cuisine. I found the "Initiation 1" tasting menu excellent in every course, and some dishes surprised me, always positively. The dining room service was excellent, providing information about the dishes and wines throughout the evening. The professionalism and passion that the entire staff puts into their work is evident and makes for a wonderful evening enjoying excellent food. Thank you and congratulations, Aqua Crua!

09/11/2025: Very friendly staff and excellent food. We had a recommended appetizer, including bigoli with duck and ravioli with radicchio and sausage, with house wine—amazing! There's a Trattoria La Bassa in the province of Bologna where the food is excellent, but this one of the same name also confirmed both the name and the quality of the food and service. Well done!

06/11/2025: Simply my favorite restaurant. I've come here with my partner, family, and friends, and I've always had a great time enjoying delicious food in a welcoming, casual atmosphere. Generous portions, fresh pasta first courses, and truly excellent meat second courses. The tiramisu is top-notch, the best I've ever had. This trattoria strikes the perfect balance between an elegant restaurant and a family-run osteria. A place where I feel at home. Highly recommended.

The venue was meticulously designed, with a warm and elegant atmosphere, all impeccably managed by Silvia and her close-knit, competent, and helpful team. The dishes were harmonious, carefully presented, and the table setting was elegantly designed. We had a wonderful evening that will forever remain in our memories and those of our guests.

06/10/2025: My experience was wonderful. My husband and I held our wedding reception here, and it was a dream. Silvia, the owner, was extremely helpful and professional, and so were all the staff. I wanted everything to be perfect and unforgettable for our wedding, and they were able to fulfill all our wishes for this special day.

21/10/2025: This was a great experience. We had a cocktail in the bar first - terrific negroni for me. We were able to enjoy our drinks and then move into the dining room. The room is lovely with a stunning roof fresco. We opted to go with the 6 course tasting surprise menu. There were extra little amuse bouche through the meal. The service was excellent. The main older man with the grey hair explained each dish very well and seemed proud of the food. We really liked him. The sommelier was very good too. We started with a local white wine and then went onto a red wine. Both were lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. It felt like a proper treat. I would recommend if you want a special meal in Bologna.

16/10/2025: Never to be forgotten…we have spent the past 4 weeks ‘living’ here in Bologna - visiting from Tasmania, Australia. Last night we came to I Carracci to celebrate both our 50th wedding anniversary and our combined 70th birthdays this year. From our first interaction with Simone, where we came in prior to ensure that we would have the correct dress code (as travellers), to the whole experience, we were blown away. The ambience of being seated in an historic room, served magnificent food (there was nothing that was not flavoursome nor so unique) and was topped off by being made to feel so special with a candlelit dessert decorated Buona Anniversario! 19/10/2025: so lets be clear about it. what you need to order are the tortellini con zucca burro salvia. then you order a bottle of lambrusco with it and you can order the mixed starters. they have an excellent type of sauce/marmelade/spread to go with garlic drenched toast there is also a great mostarda to taste just go for it great stuff enjoy!
