My partner and I shared an amazing experience today at this delightful restaurant, where everything was simply superb. The appetizer was lavish with mostarda, cured meats, cheeses, sauces, bread, and bruschetta made by them, followed by a Mantuan risotto that was simply breathtaking! Perfectly cooked, the sausage beautifully balanced in flavor and texture. Generous portions and attentive, attentive service. The girls who served us were incredibly sweet! We also had the pleasure of personally meeting Marte, the owner, a man of substance and the chef of all the delicacies on the menu. He took us on a culinary journey of authenticity and boundless passion. The mostarda was so good we bought it without a shred of hesitation.
And can we talk about the bill? Well, I'd say honesty is the order of the day here!
We can't wait to return to try all the other specialties.

On a motorcycle ride with friends, we stopped at this trattoria by chance...from the quality and quantity of the food, the welcome, the professionalism...everything was excellent! Highly recommended!!

A truly delightful experience: the owners were very kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious, typical of traditional Mantuan cuisine. Just steps from the enchanting Abbey of San Benedetto. Convenient parking. Highly recommended during the week.

Good, honest local cuisine, with appropriate portions. A pleasant, almost homey atmosphere, thanks in part to the three women who run it with kindness and attention. The bread is homemade, and you can taste it.
Food paired with an honest Lambrusco. Small adjustments would be enough to better showcase their work: a decent oil instead of Selex, black peppercorns instead of the dusty supermarket kind, ditto for the vinegar, and slightly less commercial cutlery. The prices are more than fair.
I would definitely return.

We stopped in San Benedetto Po on our way back from Lake Garda. Not far from the highway is this little village with a stunning abbey and an exceptional trattoria in the village. The tortelli are sublime; we tried them with ragù and also with broccoli rabe. The sbrisolona with mascarpone was amazing. The chef was very kind and helpful. A family atmosphere with authentic flavors.

I'm a regular at the restaurant and I can see the care they put into cooking top-quality ingredients!!! Chef Marte often comes to the dining room to hear customers' opinions. Cleanliness and quality are a given. 🏠Don't underestimate the basilica just a stone's throw away, very convenient for tourists.
