30/09/2025: We ate well, with adequate portions and good quality, only the mutton was a bit tough. Addressed to many restaurateurs today: come and learn how to do real catering here. If you're just good at cooking but not hospitable, it's better to open a YouTube channel dedicated to cooking, not a restaurant. To be a restaurateur, in addition to loving cooking, you need to be hospitable, and here they teach you how: kindness, complimentary digestifs, reasonable portions, a small discount on the bill, and banish all those petty things like surcharges on the additional half-portion dish and other similar nonsense. 03/11/2025: We had the most wonderful dinner at this family-run Italian restaurant — truly a hidden gem. The amazing service and the cozy atmosphere made the whole experience unforgettable. The food was exceptional from start to finish. The pistachio pasta was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, the duck breast was tender and full of flavour and the slow-cooked beef simply melted in the mouth. For dessert, the apple cake with mousse was the perfect ending — light, fragrant, and beautifully presented. We left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Italian food served with genuine hospitality!

01/11/2025: Taverna Caprese in Bari is a simple, rustic establishment, typical of local taverns. A taverna is a small, friendly restaurant serving traditional, unpretentious cuisine. For lunch, we sampled antipasti: pears with caciocavallo cheese, breaded cod, as well as spaghetti with anchovies and olives, and paccheri with seafood. The meal was simple but decent, affordable, and perfectly acceptable for a relaxed outing.

04/10/2025: I booked online the first time, and they were kind enough to send me a cancellation email and call me back personally since they were closed for lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, with qualified and friendly staff. The food is plentiful, with delicious first courses and the tagliata (beef steak) is incredibly tender. Everything is in line with the more than fair prices. I highly recommend it.

Each dish exuded care, passion, and originality, yet at the same time, we felt welcomed and at home: a rare balance between refinement and human warmth. The staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, attentive to our needs and offering advice that fully respected our tastes. One aspect that particularly impressed us was the great attention to dietary requirements: my partner, who is celiac, was able to enjoy the same dishes in a gluten-free version, completely safely and with the utmost care. An experience that combines haute cuisine, authentic hospitality, and impeccable professionalism. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a special dinner in a refined and authentic setting.
