This restaurant is located just off the Calenzano exit of the A1 motorway. It might not look like much from the outside, but inside it's truly welcoming and decorated in a simple yet elegant style. The service was impeccable, and the waiters were very kind and helpful. We all had excellent seafood dishes, including the mixed antipasto platter, which was superb!

Close to my hotel, I prefer it to others for its light and tempting meat and fish menu. Impeccable service, excellent food, and moderately high prices, but the quality and quantity are justified. I'll be back next time I'm in Calenzano.

It's been a while since I've been back. We stopped by on a Monday evening for dinner. I was wonderfully surprised. I'm celiac and was able to eat fried food, which is impossible for me in other restaurants, but here I have to say they've made a point of making all the fried food with rice flour, which makes it possible for anyone with celiac disease to enjoy it. I was absolutely amazed. For this alone, you deserve 5 stars. We'll be back again and again. Many thanks also to the kind and attentive staff.
PS: The photo of the fried cod was taken on another occasion and I didn't take a picture, but it was truly delicious.

The Tagliatelle and Aglio Olio were delicious.
The problem was that we came to this restaurant without knowing the true nature of the Florentine steak. Since Florentine cattle are a lean breed, the meat becomes dry and tough if overcooked, so we didn't know they cook it "Raw" and just went ahead and ordered it. The awkwardness I felt when the waiter told me it wasn't even medium and was "ONLY RARE" was immense... (Later, I heard from our tour guide that it must meet all the conditions: dry aging, rare, and a thickness of 3cm.)
We ordered it boldly, thinking we should at least try it since we were there, but in the end, we couldn't even eat half of the steak and left the rest. Haha.

The interior and exterior of the restaurant are nothing special... we ordered a Florentine steak for two, followed by grilled porcini mushrooms on the side, a glass of wine and water, and finally, cantuccini and vin santo for two. Total cost: €130, which is honestly a bit high. The Florentine steak was quite small compared to usual.
The only plus: the service was fast.

A typical Tuscan restaurant. Welcoming and meticulously prepared, especially in the wood-fired oven-cooked meats. Excellent selection of wines, proseccos, and grappas. We enjoyed excellent fried and sautéed porcini mushrooms, which accompanied two delicious sirloin steaks, weighing 1 kg each. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. Congratulations!
